hello everybody and welcome back to the channel today we’re covering all things Star Valley expanded related so I thought I would grab my chair and hold on over to one of my favorite expanded characters which is Sophia um but I can’t place my chair down here so we’re just going to stand in the middle of her Vineyard and hope for the best so stardo Valley expanded is one of the most popular expansion mods that you can add into your game it adds in a brand new area onto stardo Valley it adds in 27 brand new NPCs it adds in brand new fish reimagined areas two new farm maps and a brand new world map that reflects all of the changes there’s also things like new music quest line objects crops festivals and so much more now if you have spent a moment in my streams or watch any of my modding related videos you may know that Star Valley expanded is like my number one top mod it is the one mod that I can’t really play the game without it sounds so bad but I just really love what expanded gives to the game without completely adding in a new area or just an entirely huge overhaul they’re not super far to get to the characters have really fantastic stories and they really just fit super well into the world of pelicant town but I thought it would be cool to go over some mods that I have found that you can add that adjust stari Valley expanded particularly how your characters look uh things for like forage walls and crops map changes and so much more before we get further on into the video here is a quick disclaimer a little bit of information regarding all of our modding related content so first of all all of these mods are downloadable through Nexus mods Nexus mods is a really amazing site it also showcases and has most of the mods that you will find for stue Valley on there additionally as of March 2024 the 1.6 update is out this update has definitely affected mods and I know that a lot of creators are slowly working on getting some of these mods updated I cannot confirm or deny if the mods that I’m showcasing in this video will work with 1.6 it’s only because most of these mods will need a backing mod such as a Content Patcher the updated sppy or something like alternate textures to because sometimes an old mod might work with an updated content Patcher and as much as I want to test all of these mods out my poor little computer cannot handle it so just make sure that when you download your mods and open them up in your sppy that you quickly check to see any mods highlighted in red and you can also check out this incredible website sppy which will show you a newer version of The Mod if this one is no longer compatible and then also if you want to keep up to date with your mods just make sure to check out these purple ones here which means that you can update them and lastly I will be listing all of the mods that I Showcase in this video in the description below I’ve broken them up into time stamps of the categories and then time stamps for all of the mods as well if there was a particular I one that you liked you can see where the time stamp is and then the link right next to it anyway now that’s out of the way let’s get back to the video so before we get into it let’s head on over to our categories so for this one of course the big one today is going to be our portraits and Sprites related mods but that is not the only one that we will be covering we will also be touching base on our map Rec colors and buildings we have only one mod in here but a sort of crops foraging mod and then lastly we will end off with character expansions and events I absolutely love the world of Star Valley expanded and I hope that the these mods will serve you well without further Ado let us get into it starting us off we have nyu’s portraits for seasonal outfits and this is a staru valley expanded edit so it changes all of the character mods from the seasonal outfits slightly cuter aesthetic for staru Valley expanded with color edited portraits from NAU’s portraits inspired by dong again if you watch any of my other videos you’ll know that I use NAU’s portraits I really hope I’m pronouncing that correctly first of all but it’s one of my favorite portrait mods to have into my game and I absolutely love that they are doing the seasonal outfits and the changes to that for our expanded characters I absolutely love how my two favorite characters sopia and Lance look but as well even the different hair and beard colors for rasmodius up next on the list we have darar staru Valley expanded anime style portraits so this adds in really gorgeous anime style portraits of all of the characters that you could find in expanded and comes with all of their different outfits for things like work for some of their events all that sort of stuff I love the subtle changes to this one it still very much so keeps with the inspiration of staru Valley itself but I do absolutely adore how the characters look in this one and these slight different changes it is a very gorgeous really cute overhaul up next on the list we have fish King stari Valley expanded portraits this is also a very anime inspired portrait looking mod that changes the way that all of our characters look with all of their seasonal option outfits as well Dusty also gets included in this one with a brand new look to him with a couple more Expressions as well and overall it just gives the characters a fantastic New Look to them I absolutely love how they all look and overall I think that this just suits the characters personalities a lot better than the Bas game up next we have Veronica’s stue Valley expanded portraits Veronica does a lot of portrait star mods we have recently covered one over on my Abigail related video but I absolutely love how these look they overall just make the characters look a little bit older for Olivia they’ve made her the opposite and looking a little bit younger and they just add this really cool Edge to the characters that you don’t normally get within the bass style Victor looks super grown up and like a hunk of a man Sandy has some really cutesy style portraits to her the wizard and marlard both look very grunchy looking to you from the side and CLA just has this sweet look about her I absolutely love these character style portraits and glad that she has made some for the expanded characters too up next on the list we have portraits of stari Valley expanded this again is another very anime related style mod I would say probably a little bit leading more into anime than and some of the other ones and just gives the characters an overall sort of toned down look to them but very much is still keeping with how they are looking in the bass game very much so adore all of the little features they have given to us from these characters up next on the list we have Dong’s Harvest Moon inspired staru Valley expanded portraits if you are a fan of staru Valley at all you will know that the game is heavily inspired by Harvest Moon as it was one of concerned Apes favorite games growing up and a lot of Harvest Moon fans probably intertwine and play Both of the games at the same time this m has created a harvest moon inspired portraits pack for all of our expanded characters giving them this really cute like chibi style look to them as well as really muting down all of those bright bold colors I absolutely adore how this one looks and really great if you’re a big Harvest Moon fan up next on the list we have seasonal outfits for stari Valley expanded obviously with the update we got some really cool seasonal outfits for our characters so now we’ve got to have them available for our expanded characters this adds in spring summer for winter inside and winter outside options for all of our characters as well as some miscellaneous options to give our characters some more personality and a real full overhaul this does also change slightly how these Sprites look to match with all of the different seasons and gives them some really cute flower dance options as well as stuff for the egg Festival the L out the Moonlight jellies Spirits Eve and also some stuff for Sandy I adore how this one looks I love the seasonal outfits in general so I’m glad that we can bring that to our expansion saves that was it for all our portraits and Sprites mods which is definitely the bigger part of this video but don’t fret there’s still lots to go over so we’re going to head next into our map recolors and buildings mods starting us off we have one that I personally love which is Daisy nco’s earthy map for Stu Valley expanded this gives a earthy recolor for the Stu Valley expanded Maps medine’s Farm the immersive Farm to remastered grandpa’s farm JoJo Emporium Crimson Badlands grandon suburbs Highlands and Fable Reef so it kind of covers a lot of stuff if you never heard of Daisy noco’s earthy recolor it is a gorgeous toned down look that you can provide to your game is actually the one that I am running right now that you can see and this just allows you to have it in for your expansion safe as well just gives a really gorgeous overhaul to the map to add in that tone down feeling up next on that same Vibe we have the earthy recolor waterfall fix for sty Valley expanded and grandpa’s farm so this one fixes the waterfalls in stagi Valley expanded and also in grandpa’s farm to match the wonderful work of the daisy Nikos Earth recolor mod we have some gorgeous waterfalls right near the new mine area as well as on our farm but it would be so cool if they can slightly adjust color and change how they look going with the seasons with this mod that fixes all of that and it looks so gorgeous I love the subtle changes in the color of the water to really make that all fix in with our map and lastly on this list this is a big favorite of mine but we have medieval stari Valley expanded if you know me I love the medieval mod that Gwen creates she’s a creator of things like way back Pelican town and the medieval buildings mod that you most commonly will see me using but it doesn’t just end there now they have added in an expanded mod which changes the look of all of the buildings things like Susan’s house to the Jenkins residence to the Blue Moon Winery and also the Aurora wiery this one is highly recommended to use with way back pelicant town and they both just connect and Vibe so well I absolutely love how this one looks that was it for all of our map free colors and buildings we are on to a next category which only has one mod but this is sort of crops and foraging and this is turn Star Valley expanded objects into Artisan Goods I thought this was really cool because Artisan goods and all that sort of stuff is really big for people in their sort of endgame part but there’s a lot of new things that have come to the game so it would be awesome if we could use the forage that we find in Star Valley expanded into these so this now turns five stari Valley expanded objects into Artisans using a keg preserve jar or dehydrator so you can now turn a lucky fourleaf clover the mushroom Colony a poison mushroom a red Bane Berry and a s Rafia into an artisan good by using any of those items above mostly fantastic in the moneymaking department and can make some pretty cool items like a fourleaf clover juice overall just a very very fun mod yeah well that was that little short category where you coming into our last category for subsidy Valley expansion mods and these are our character expansions and also events related mods which we love to add an expansion onto expansions but starting us off first we have the dark room portra shop this is a staru valley expanded add-on mod so this adds in staru Valley expanded portraits to the dark room portrait shop so this allows you to obtain the ability to buy the portraits directly at eight hearts with that villager you can either purchase them or give a villager a portrait ticket and you will receive the portrait a few days later and as well if you’re a completionist perfectionist and want to get all of them instead of only having to wait till you romance one of them it’s great to be able to just purchase them all next on the list going in line with that one we have the datable NPC photos for S Valley expanded so this one adds in the five datable NBCS of Stu Valley expanded into these photos that you can have on your walls when you marry them this is a very cute little feature as well rasmodius is included in this one so you really can’t go wrong and means that you can have a beautiful portrait of your favorite character up on your wall up next this one I feel like was a personal attack at me um but we have S Valley expanded Lance come sooner please I am a huge fan of Lance I think it his G just and this mod changes it so that you can meet Lance from s Valley expanded after reaching level 120 of the mines previously you have to wait until you reach the ginger Island to meet Lance for the first time so this just essentially means that we don’t have to do all of that grinding and we can meet him when we get to the bottom of the mines he will obviously still go spend a few days at Ginger Island and a few at stari Valley so there won’t be a ton of times to catch up with him but enough to gift and to romance I feel um next on the list we have romanceable res modius Redux so this one just massively expands on the original romanceable rasmodius mods within the context of Star Valley expanded so these are super super law friendly this adds in over 1,200 lines of dialogue 80 new custom events 20 adjusted star valy expanded events and the original 12 Star Valley expanded events for a total of 110 events this is a fantastic expansion related mod especially if you really want to romance that Wizard and just comes with some really really cool different dialogues and contexts to add to your game overall just a really really fun one up next on the list we’re almost at the end but we have the unique winter star for Star Valley expanded so this one adds in a unique dialogue for all of our expanded characters at the winter star so it gives them unique dialogue for giving and receiving gifts at the winter star if they are eligible to do so so the only characters that you can gift or be gifted by is Marlon Andy Susan Sophia Claire after six hearts Victor and Olivia so if they are from s Valley exenter then part of that list they cannot give you a gift at the winter St at any point in the game however new in 1.6 there has been added in some new gifters so Scarlet Morgan Martin and Gunther to be gifters and allows Lance to gift you without marrying him if you choose to enable it which I think is really cool that they have just continuously updated the mod over the time but overall it is just really fun to get some new dialogue into the game especially for such a cool event like the winter star now we are on to our last mod for this category and this is Victor romance mod so Victor is one of the romanceable characters in Star Valley expanded however this one expands Victor’s pre and post-marriage dialogue to make him a little bit more romantic additionally it does also come with some new Festival dialogue The Creator said after marriage Victor is sweeter than all the pink cakes one could find in all of the fal Republic however similar to Harvey Victor turns from a nerd to an almost dorky nerd in love so while he is very sweet and a loving partner the premar dialogue doesn’t really reflect that Victor’s normal dialogue prior to getting married is just very friendly with no hints of romantic interest whatsoever and there is just such a sudden change from Friendship to marriage and nothing really leading up no sort of flirty or anything like that so this mod just adds in pre-marriage post-marriage and also Festival dialogue and he starts to develop a crush Feud around six hearts and it progresses the more hearts that you get with him I think this is really really cool I absolutely love Romancing characters and them sort of like noticing it and when our hearts get further they will make like comments about and stuff so it is really cool that now Victor can be a part of this and not just have such a drastic change the second that you marry him that is it for all of our stari Valley expanded mods to add into your game now of course there are definitely so many more that we could have covered so I would love to hear your opinions down below and let me know what your
