We’re Building ALL OF Breath of the Wild in Minecraft – Death Mountain

The Breath of the Wild in Minecraft project finally approaches it’s end as we finish up the Akkala region alongside Eldin. We start with Akkala Citadel and move north past Tarrey Town, finishing the tech lab and Zonai labyrinth. We then approach Eldin from the south, working our way towards Goron City and Vah Rudania, the final Divine Beast of the project.

  1. My favorite build in this map so far would be the ancient akkala tech lab. It's very smalll yet very detailed. It combines btw's ancient sci fi style with a bit of steampunk. Great job on bringing my favorite location together! 15 out of 5 stars build.

  2. Amazing work as always. You should consider getting the distant horizons mod for the final showcase, so you can view the entire map regardless of where in the world you are

  3. the plume looks fire-you should def either keep or redo, dont get rid of it. btw this has been on of my favorite video series ever

  4. I think other than the hebra skeleton, the elden one is supposed to be Livious from skyward sword and the gerudo one is supposed to be the wind fish from link’s awakening, the 3rd one in hebra we don’t know about, but then again, we don’t know the 3 elemental dragons are, so yeah

  5. Heck yea this is looking good frickin good!! Glad to hear you’re still kickin! Keep up the good work! I’ll be sure to be among the first to download!

  6. Assuming you move on to a Totk map once you complete this, I think it would be neat to release the sky islands alongside the botw map and release it, and do the same with the depths, so that you could play with the totk additions in botw.

  7. Ok….Listen me out….. Find a guy who knows how to use commands that will make gameplay even more simular to original like moving divine beasts or actual storyline like in BOTW…. yes i know that this can create another 100 episodes of series

  8. I love not only how hard you’ve worked on this, but also the community you’ve built. From things like Gricken and chubnox to stuff like Grustin, you’ve built a hilarious and amazing community. Thank you so much for all you’ve done!

  9. I've been following since the first video, hard to believe it's already been 2 years. You've come so far, and I've awaited every episode with excitement, and finished each one feeling satisfied. This project is amazing, and I already know I'll be coming back to rewatch the entire thing when it's over.. Probably multiple times

  10. This was an amazing episode! I’m so happy about how far this project has come. I’ve been supporting from the start and I’ll keep supporting it and all your builds in the future!

I wanted to make a few suggestions for the map. Firstly, maybe adding in particle effects for the different regions. E.g bassalt delta effect for eldin or a fog effect for the Korok forest.

Also, I think you should use actual leaves for the trees in akkala, even if they don’t look quite right. As well as maybe removing wood from the palette of the gerudo region. I feel like the asthetics remove the practicality of it from a survival perspective. Maybe you could release 2 versions, one for survival and one for aesthetic. Same thing with other blocks around the world that would be overpowered to obtain normally , like I think I saw a netherite block in one of the builds

Anyway, I absolutely love this project and I truly admire your efforts. Thanks again and see you in the next episode!

  11. Its honestly incredible that we are almost near the end. I still remember seeing the first episode and honestly, i was just praying you wouldnt cancel it, just because its such a massive project. Thankfully, that wasnt the case. I cannot wait for the finale!

  12. This series has been so fun to watch. I can’t wait for it to be finished and even more so, I cannot wait to play it.

I remember you at one point mentioning that the divine beasts will actually contain eyes for you to beat the game in the end, but since the interior of Rudania is so janked at its current angle, I wanted to throw out a suggestion I though of. If you aren’t using it at all already, what if you recreated Va Rudanias untilted interior in the nether? You could include the portal at the entrance to the beast, and then players could go into a more typical version of the beast to obtain their prize. The nether theme even fits, it being the beast of fire and all.

  13. This is such an amazing milestone, I remember thinking you would abandon the project after the 2nd or 3rd episode but boy was I wrong

  14. You should add a teleport command when the player enters the divine beast which teleports them to a separate, non-rotated interior somewhere outside the map.
