  1. For Terraria 2, I would wanna see a bigger focus on making weapons/bosses/accessories etc just crazy awesome, Calamity style. Terraria's bosses are pretty awesome, but compared to what the community has made in Tmod, Id say Terraria 2 would have to live up to those at least. A lot of the weapons in terraria are interesting, but most of them dont have that "WOW" factor, like something like Arc Of The Cosmos does from Calamity. Same goes for the accessories.

  2. Honestly, when I look at this, I just remember my days hopelessly scanning rough maps of Noita's world.
    Extremely complex, yet simple, cut off in squares just like here.

    I wonder if it might be something like Noita's map?

  3. Im hopping for a discount if they ever release the 2nd Terraria since i just recently bought (legally)Terraria in playstore. FINALLY!

  4. It would be really awesome if they did the same crazy particle interaction like in Noita or powder game, where different elements can form new or cause a reaction.
    Like being able to burn wood or heat up water till it steams and then rains down again when it is cooled.

  5. I'm just getting into the game after largely ignoring it in my Steam library for years. I'm loving it, and wish I had played it more than a couple minutes back in 2011! There's so much to do, and that's without mods, that it's hard to believe it's only 10 bucks.

    I'm fully behind a Terraria 2 as long as the charm, depth, and general ideas are kept and expanded upon. They've added so much to Terraria without charging extra money for any of it, whereas so many 'AAA' games want you to pay 10 bucks for a bad looking hat or whatever, that I feel they deserve some extra compensation for massive amounts of work, and a new game would allow for that (even if they kept it at 10 bucks, but I expect it'd be closer to 20), as well as a new engine, fix some of the back end issue they may have, and just add a load of new stuff as they won't have to support legacy systems with a new game.

    I'm still learning the biomes in Terraria, but I love the idea of that acid biome, as a dark and dangerous place. I'd love to see some kind of permanent graveyard biome, with all kinds of 'spooky' stuff, which would doubly cool to get more of that kind of themed decorations and furniture for our houses.

  6. It's not happening. I loved Terraria as much as the next person, but after being jerked around for years, of will they or won't they, the only thing they have to show is a sketch made by 4 year old from Mario Paint?

  7. lol das spiel ist nicht mehr in der entwicklung, vll sollte man sich erst einmal informieren und dann ein video raus bringen, das team hatt sich gestritten, und da spiel wird es nicht mehr geben! und nochwas, das video ist echt mies scheisse geworden, kein richtiger contend, sondern nur dummes bla bla…… danke für verlorene zeit …..

  8. I'm hoping that it pans out as a more diverse world generation, like each panel shown in the preview gets mixed and matched, like how Corruption and Crimson get shuffled. I'd love playing a Sand and snow/ ice cream/ storm cloud world

  9. Terraria 2 should have colony sim mechanics like Rimworld or Oxygen Not Included. The NPCs are what I found to be the most lacking in Terraria. Then after Terraria 2, should be Terraria 3D–a competitor to Minecraft like Terraria used to be. I'm not sure why all the 3D sandbox Minecraft competitors just died out of nowhere in the 2010s, but there should genuinely be some competition seeing as how Minecraft has become stagnated.

I really wish they don’t do the one thing that makes me very lazy to play terraria IN MY OPINION and it is crafting the most powerful weapon after beating the last boss in the game like what purpose does it give to zenith if I beat all possible bosses without enjoying zenith I used to suggest being able to craft zenith first then fight moonlord and buffing his health up

  11. am i the only one who kind of doesn't like the art. there are things i like for example the jungle tree but the map seems weird cause there is so much things next to each other that doesn't make sense and some weird grid spaces like the candy biome or the meowmewere. it also looks like a grid instead of an actual world and it feels like its not a sandbox game anymore. i also dont like how huge it is. it would make it very hard to explore

  12. idk, I feel like they don’t have to make a Terraria 2, but just spend time rewriting the engine and release it as an update. I don’t think people will want to part ways with the first game that they’ve been playing for a decade now.

  13. The only thing terraria 2 needa is better building, if it was as easy as Minecraft it would blow it out the water! As a new player that’s the most difficult challenge along with the ui

  14. Otherworld had some amazing concepts that I hope they bring into Terraria 2. Namely, the way corruption works and how you can destroy it by building machines that slowly purge it and the whole idea of point/tower defense to keep your settlements safe.

  15. To be honest, Terraria: Otherworld's biome purification ideas and its look were really cool. I really hope that makes it into a 2. Or we just get Otherworld's beta thing.

  16. Do we really need Terraria 2.0. No! But we are expecting new features from it. I will always have a better time with the original Terraria because its original features are nostalgic, and it is memorable with a better story and a proper conclusion. We will see if it respects Terraria 1.0 original vision of Re-Logic.

So theoretically if they had an alternate hallow which is basically an alternate evil biome and considering the og two evil biomes had seperate bosses since this qualifies an evil biome does that mean if it had an alternate version of itself would that mean we get an alternate version of empress of light it's boss.

  18. honestly I believe you're correct. If terraria gets a sequel game, I would make it mostly a engine update with a bit of new content and a reimagination of the old stuff. I always felt that it's a little off that hallowed doesn't have a variant like corruption. I also started to regard Calamity mod as a straight up a unofficial massive game update.
