Highly doubt it that Notch is mentioned anywhere on the anniversary timeline
I don't agree that minecraft 32 is representative of the early release or first seen versions at all. My memories of the first time I played cave game didn't have mining or crafting and no torch update yet so no implemented lighting. The 32 block version to me is the beta release. Alpha was more of an empty game with a promise. I have been so very thankful that my friend saw the reddit post linking to notch's baby and that he kept that promise. In my life time I bought this game three times for myself and three times for my son. Minecraft is the only game that I would buy that many times happily, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to play it with my son. Thank you Notch!!

Does anyone else have an issue where the creeper cape doesn't appear in your inventory? I play Bedrock edition. I also lost my founders cape a while back and I'd also like to know why that's gone.
Given that they’re already collaborating with Google it would’ve been cool to find a way to do a YouTube cape, though I suppose YouTube doesn’t have the drop reward structure Twitch and TikTok do.
I wonder why there is no youtube cape, this platform had and still has a significant role in the game history
The Twitch cape hasn't unlocked on Java for me, but I redeemed the code. Anyone else? Maybe the cape is also Bedrock-only

I'm hoping we get one, big interesting thing, like a new feature or block that changes the game in a fresh feeling way. Or maybe even the reveal of a new dimension. They've sorrta been teasing the idea these last few April Fools updates.

Just want to clarify that the realms collaboration map is actually free to download from the article. It wasn’t at first but they updated it shortly after posting. There is a ton to do and explore, and it was a joy to work on it. We had only a little over a month to work on it, but I think I can say for all of us that we are super proud of the final product. I hope you do take a little time to explore it, even if it’s just flying around in creative.
