The Ultimate Guide to 100% Purifying your Terraria World(1.4.4+) Good Riddance Achievement!
There came some new achievements when Terraria updated to 1.4.4 a couple months ago, and one of them being the Good Riddance achievement. To get this achievement you have to 100% purify your terraria world using a Clentaminator and green solution. In this video I show you the best way to get this achievement depending on which situation you are in. I have a worst case scenario… I destroyed every single tangible block, wall, and platform in the entire world and my dryad still says "the world is 1% hallow. We are living in a fairy tale." (I have a single wooden hut at spawn for the dryad, but it is entirely pure)
Edit: I think that there is a hallowed block on the unreachable outskirts of the world, but I don't know what to do without T-edit… I tried the clentaminator and the terraformer with brown soultion already. (I am on console)
Scenario 2 is a good idea and I might use it, but I don't want to leave holes throughout my world. Is there a way without making holes, or if not make the holes not visible?
dont do the mistake of buying 9999 green ammo, i used like 300 on a small map (seed 1014660551, crimson)

To save on making a ton of holes place some blocks to mark your position when a hole is on the edge if your screen then walk until the marker is on the side of your screen, then shoot both ways.
I wish there was more info on this my dryad on small new world says there is 1% D: ive tried using the potion but not seeing any extra blocks… anything esle i could do?
EDIT: I GOT IT after relogging 2 times
9999 is too much. 2500 is enough since i only got 4% crimson with 9% hallow and i only used like 700 solution (i had 17% corruption before)

I really don't care about the achievement, it's only one biome away from my house, and everything on the right side of the world is gone, heck I was grinding wal of flesh loot when a corrupt mimic dropped down from the corruption right above and killed me
I am going crazy about the 1% corruption
I sprayed most of my world with the terraformer using over 5000 green solution. I still have 6% corruption

This is notoriously the world's hardest achievement to ever achieve. I had to use my drill containment unit, in a small world, digging and drilling every part of my world. Save and reload the game, check up on the dryad, and when she keeps on saying 1%, it's just so infuriating.
Idk why but I only have 1 biome and I’m stuck at 1%
Bruh i have 10 % corupt i wanna just get rid of corupt cuz its annoying when your world gets infected
quick summary: get the cletaminator or shimmer it to get the terraformer (only after ML has been killed), get a crap ton of green solution, chug ammo reservasion potions, biome sight potions, activate an ammo box, basically get as many ammo reservation abilities as you can, bring some dynamite or bombs (my personal suggestion, if you do bring explosives please make them sticky) and finally, a top tier pickaxe or drill. start digging a bunch of vertical tunnels around the evil biomes in your world and and start spraying that purifying machine through the walls. keep drinking potions, digging tunnels and spraying green solution until all evil is gone. keep in mind the dryad will say that 1% of the world is still non-pure even if it is, so log out of the world and join back in after you are done.

I believe the range of the clentaminator is 60 tiles exactly, so by tunneling every 100 blocks you can dig them quite far apart without worrying about recorruption

I have a big world and already killed moonlord. I wanna clean the map and made holes which r bigger than 5 blocks so the crimson cant spread anymore. I clean section my section and use a biom sight potion but for some reason crimson blocks keep spawning randomly where ive already cleaned even tho there where no crimsonblocks left over so it could spread. I need help please.

As an idiot who didn't know about the V shaped before I went into hard mode and my sister not wanting to rebuild her house in a different world, I have no clue where the crimson is entirely but I know that my entire jungle was take over. We had originally got rid of the crimson before we went into hard mode and made it into an aboveground glowing mushroom biome but we will have to redo it since I'm going for the left ocean to the right ocean.

Greatest side note ever, Your certain that the world is pure but the dryad still thinks there's 1%, just reboot the world. All of a sudden hey good job you cured the world!

Have to ask lets say you beat the moon lord and get the terraformer but you want to start a new world can you pure everything before hardmode so there won’t be anything corrupted or will it spawn more like it usually does
