I do like that if you squint at this destroyer, it kind of resembles a mechanical brain of cthulu. I think it's worth the complete obliteration of worm bosses to have this.
It’s really cool, but at this point I think you should hire a sprite artist to make the sprites cooler.

I'm not a big fan of bullet hells, so I feel like this could use a whole lot more than just spamming projectiles everywhere. The visuals could use a lot of work too, the massive pixel size looks really weird. It's still miles ahead of the vanilla destroyer though.
Speed up the projectile of those attacks! They are way too slow for a destroyer!

Oh shoot, this is sick, I do have a suggestion though, I feel like you should have the destroyer turn when the laser gets shot, and he turns with the laser, just a suggestion though lol

that was awesome, i love that you reworked the boss into something new. you should add the worm back in some form, like if a bunch of smaller, indestructible ones come out of the ground to try and attack you, and then they burrow again.
Incredible and inspired rework. 10/10. VERY excited to do a playthrough of this mod when it's finished!
