An incredible Terraria weapon you may have missed… The Stellar Tune. In this video, I take a look at this crazy post Plantera magic weapon which I usually complete miss due to it been a rare Empress of Light drop. This weapon is shockingly one of the absolute best for the mage class and can easily carry you past Golem, Lunatic Cultist and even the Pillars thanks to its fast firing explosive attack. Like the Magical Harp, It also functions as a musical instrument meaning you can play whatever you like by positioning the cursor on your screen! If you haven’t already, I’d definitely get grinding the EoL to try and get your hands on one of these things!

I remember defeating Empress of Light for this weapon over and over, the boss's drops are just so amazing and bedazzling.
Fun fact: Despite having opened a bunch of Empress bags across multiple characters, it took a Calamity playthrough to get the weapon and I thought it was added by a mod
i remember getting it on my first mage playthrough and MELTING moonlord
seriously learn empress's attacks she's the most fair boss in the game
and while being fun to fight
i have no words to describe her loot's absurd strenght

def my favourite post plantera weapon, too nad its only 5% in vanilla (in calamity they buffed it to 33% on expert)
Spectre armor and Razorblade typhoon is really good against empress.
Swap between healing and dmg, you can pretty much tank lot of empress' damage with the healing of spectre armor.
Make sure to equip a knokback resistance shield unless you'll get stuck between her fast projectiles.
I pretty much farmed all the empress' drops, pre Golam with this method. (expert mode)

I don’t play mage that often but empress is really easy for me basically meaning I don’t ever use it but it’s always sitting there if i want to play mage
I think empires of light is really not that bad in my opinion I think plantara is the hardest boss to find and fight
I hope thorium upgrades it , the stellar tune looks like something the bard class uses

Stellar tune is my favourite weapon as a mage I just love to harass my friends with my tone deaf music

5% drop rate? As far as I know, it's even worse. It actually has a 2% drop rate.
I got it first try in a recent playthrough, but sold it immediately since I'm playing melee.
shes fairly easy if you obtain razor blade typhoon aswell
The only thing i don't like is its sound. It is an electric guitar, not a balalaika. I wanted to hear BREEEEW BAM BAM BOOM BUM BAM and not DRIN DRIN DRUN DRUN DRIN DRIN
I got it on my 5th try on my master mode mage playthrough, great for crowds too
empress of light is my favorite boss in terraria
i love the chaotic fight
and the drops are always so good
The 2% drop rate in Classic mode is brutal, I finally got it after exactly 100 attempts 😔
