lmao only once have I seen a duck swimming on my farm, and by golly it was just the cutest thing I ever saw.

As someone clueless about Stardew Valley, my first play through was the Riverland farm and I knew about the ducky going swimming ‘cause… well they were surrounded by water anyway so that’s the only thing they could do all day 😭

Riverland was my first farm, so I new about the ducks swimming! I keep my coop near the pond on my Forest Farm now and the duckies love it ❤
The cookies thing is mind blowing
According to the wiki, a duck that swims also won't need to eat any grass that day. No idea if it's true, but I trust the wiki entry
Also omg I got the laurel wreath crown the other day when Emily turned my male character into a frat boy a toga party. It's my favourite outfit it's so funny
My first duckling on the Meadowlands escaped the original enclosure by swimming in the river…
Shellfish can also be put into the fish smoker.

Love these, some new ones for me. One that I haven't heard anyone mention yet is that the iridium scythe is great for harvesting crops on trellises, you can plant them in four rows close together and then use the scythe from each side to get all of the items, it even works on tea saplings. Also great for harvesting moss off trees as it doesn't use energy, or damage the tree or any tappers that might be present.
