Welcome to Hermitcraft Season 10 – Episode 13! I built my first shop in the Hermitcraft shopping district and the biggest shop I have ever made in Minecraft. The build is a massive Death Star and will be my sand and gravel shop when done. Also, I got the last terracotta permit from the permit office as Grain crafted the Hermit permit challenge.

    Knowing Scar is gonna build a mini desert under his deathstar while an already naturally generated one right next to the planned area bothers me.

    Man I really want to have a conversation about Star Wars with scar, dude knows his stuff. This is by far my favorite build on HC and mostly because it's the Rogue One Death Star

    The Deathstar looks amazing! It’s always cool to see Star Wars stuff built in Minecraft, and you did an amazing job on this build, and you put a ton of thought into how it looks.

    I'm not even a big Star Wars guy but that Death Star looks AWESOME. Like even withoit the explanation, it just looked right being lighter grey because its sort of seen through the atmosphere.

    13:23 The deathstar beam looks incredible when you're flying around, because your eyes perform automatic anti-aliasing on the dynamic, moving blocks. 13:30 However, the beam has a clear aliasing effect when you're sitting still, even though you seem to have a good gradient. Maybe it looks better from further away, where you can't see individual blocks? Maybe some additional transparent, light white or grey, or translucent green blocks to fill in all the gaps and streamline the shape would reduce that aliasing effect from this distance? Then again, I don't remember what the beam looks like in the movies; maybe you don't want a smooth, straight beam after all?
