Bed Answer! Get a platform bed – they are also easy to build – they are essentially a mattress on a large flat elevated board. Not slats, no spaces – mine has two thick pieces of plywood on top of a smaller box. I can move all I want and no squeaks. The flip side is there is less give, so will result in a firmer sleeping area – but a pillowtop mattress can make it feel really plush.
