A bizarre YouTube channel contains some very odd footage of Minecraft Alpha…

  1. I know these videos are made for fun, but I had an expirience in minecraft that was creepy for me at the time.

I was checking out a minecraft mod, some of you probably know about it, it's called TooMuchTNT. I was playing the version 1.8, there was nothing strange in the menus, but when I created a new world, I spawned in a Spruce Forest, and the trees had no leaves. I gave that world one glance, the only things I took from that glance are, The sky is blue, the biome is spruce, and the leaves are missing. I exited the world out of fear and deleted it.

Herobrine is of course just a creepypasta but sometimes I wonder what was that strange world I spawned into. Was it an easter egg? Maybe the mod developers left it in, or did Mojang developers make it? Was it natural? What caused it? A bug? Trying to answer it only creates more questions.

  2. i'm pretty sure this arg is somehow related to the rubydung arg. probably the same team is behind both if i remember correctly

  3. I know many of the videos are just creepy pasta, and for entertainment that's just fine. But there are weird anomalies and bugs in minecraft, though more rare nowadays. I remember when I first got minecraft, I played in a singleplayer world on peaceful mode with my sister on a shared account, but one day when we were tending a chicken farm, the corner of it suddenly exploded. I knew there were creepers in the game, but we were playing in peaceful, and to this day I have no idea how and why the explosion happened.

  4. If I had a nickel for every Alpha Minecraft ARG covered on this channel that ended up alluding to RubyDung, I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

  5. I really like this video's formatting, instead of the background being [VOID] its instead a cobblestone hallway, fitting the theme of the creepypasta minecraft

  6. I remember I had a similar experience. Once, I made and joined a single-player world in Minecraft bedrock back in 2021. I was peacefully making a base (in survival) and I spotted a strange-looking wandering trader Alpaca (or Llama). They were all a bright red and dark green. I took a picture on my Nintendo Switch and quickly left the game.
One day this year (January 6th, 2024) I rejoined it. (Look, Pokemon and Sky COTL does a lot to you) and as soon as I joined it, the wandering trader and his llamas were gone. Suddenly, a weird-looking player was in the distance, in the fog. They had a white skin and a black frown and eyes on their face (uncanny). I quickly tried to get a better look, but they disappeared. I genuinely don’t know what happened. It was too quick to see the white man and take a pic, but I still have a picture of the strange Llamas on my switch.

  7. This series is giving me vibes kinda like the Mark101 stuff, what with the administrative space and weird entity trying to contact the main player..

  8. Would it be possible that the entity speaking to John is actually himself in the far future but slowly losing his mind?

    Evidences that could solidify this:
    1. John enters one of the rooms and his game version changes, meaning he/the maintence hall could travel through time and space, and be everywhere and every now-n-when at once. This could possibly correspond to the weird already opened & built teleporter in John's brand new world
    2. The "No exit" statement could indicate that there's quite literally no escape once John knew something was wrong, it's a loop with no exit. No matter how he delete those worlds and start brand new ones, the cycle still cannot be broken, the moment he decided to jump into that hole, he cannot come back. Every subsequence videos uploaded after the one he jumped down the hole had fundamentally changed him. And he able to enter some sort of Minecraft Matrix, that everything was just an ILLUSION. It could also kinda explains why the friend can communicate with others just fine but not John, and seemingly ignoring him. Maybe that's because he can't see John anymore like he never existed/ being erased in his consciousness
    3. The doors opening behind John could be possible about the future version, we never seen anyone behind him when the sound occurs, but the timing in later uploads can corresponds to those sounds in the older uploads
    4. The Stone room that John once trapped inside, mysteriously having the necessary items to build a teleporter after he send help, would make sense that either someone that knew about the teleporter, or yourself from the past/future. Given that the teleporter could teleport John himself backwards in time from ground level to his base roof few moments back, it's possible that a version of himself can transport those items into his hotbar after another log in.
    5. The blue screen glitch could also support a Minecraft Matrix, that he either not yet suppose to be there thus breaking the original sequence of events, or he's blending into his past self thus the world is trying to identify who is the real John and deleting old version of himself
    6. The entity said it was lingering in-between rifts with the maintence room and somewhere else, maybe it was another time shift so he cannot maintain its particles in one space for so long due to the many times it had enter into different worlds

But some counter points can be made:
    1. Why the entity can have a normal word conversation with John, but opt to use codes to say its name? It's like it's trying to hinder something. It just doesn't make sense, and seems to have an even higher level of power at place
    2. Why only John encounters this sort of rift? If the friend designed it, meaning he could've also experienced it. But clearly that's not the case, what so special about John specifically?
    3. Notice that only the materials for the teleporter was in his inventory, if he truly hope to exit the loop like I think it is, why not give tools like pickaxes to break out? He had some tools before he stepped inside the teleporter. Plus we do see that he can punch the block and slowly break away before he opt to log out the world, so like it's not like he suddenly in adventure mode. He's not really trapped inside there, then what gives?
    4. The pickaxe glitch just cannot fit into any potential theories, why it broke so quickly and why it's at low usage already?

  9. Ya know sometimes you gotta wonder if these types of things are real or just a way to create a unique story even tho it's scripted
I can't tell if any of these mysteries, creepy pastas, or rumors about Minecraft are true (other than the ones that have been debunked like Herobrine) but I would find something like this neat to explore
Of course if there's a risk of a PC breaking from something like this it would be best for me to wait until I can actually afford 2 PC… which let's hope with my rage the first one can make it
