  1. Terraria tips: the army returns

Remember the old ones' army? It's stronger now. Older and bolder.

The npc you bought the crystal and stand from? He now sells crazy new multiclass armors! Why choose between summoner and mage, when you can do both passively?

What about sentries? Well he sells updated ones for the event. But you gotta beat it to get more defender metals. He also sells the equivalent to an ender chest too.

Interested in new swords? Spears? Spells? Old ones army has got you covered. Call 1-800, eternia crystal stand TODAY!

  2. – Put Painter and Dryad together for Jungle pylon, Wizard and Party Girl together for Hallow Pylon, Demolitionist and Tavernkeep for Cavern pylon, Mechanic and Goblin Tinkerer for the Snow pylon (preferably in the underground snow), Golfer and Angler for the Ocean pylon, Arms Dealer, Nurse, and Dye trader for the Desert pylon.

    – Since you defeated the Pirates, the Pirate Captain NPC may move in. He likes the Ocean biome.

    – From the Pirates you got a Gold Ring, an accessory which increases coin pickup range. You can shimmer it into a Discount Card, an accessory that discounts NPC prices by 20%. You can shimmer that into a Lucky Coin that causes enemies to drop extra coins when damage and increases your Luck stat. And you can shimmer that back into the Gold Ring!

    – During Blood Moons, unique enemies may be encountered by Fishing that drop really good loot!

    – Purchase the Mechanic's Rod from the Mechanic NPC, it's a better fishing rod than the Fiberglass Fishing Pole.

    – The Goblin Tinkerer NPC can Reforge your weapons and accessories. This is very important.

    – When hooked up to Wire bought from the Mechanic and then activate with a lever, switch or timer, certain Statues may have interesting effects!

    – Craft Heart Lanterns and place them around your arena.

    – In the Underground Desert chests, you can find Bast Statues that you should place around your arena, the Ancient Chisel accessory that increases mining speed, and the Magic Conch which allows you to teleport to the two oceans of your world without a pylon!

    – The Old One's Army has gotten a lot stronger since the last time you fought them, and they'll also drop better loot. The Tavernkeep NPC now also sells better Sentries as well as unique Hybrid Armor.

  3. Try eating some food and sitting on the toilet. It’ll be funny.

You can click either the front or back of the cannon (I forget which) to change the angle.

Mech bosses – try showing souls of light/night to guide.

If you want to be a Mage, a mana flower is basically necessary (mana potions from merchant + nature’s gift in accessories probably).

  4. Ay, let's go! Pirates are a fantastic invasion for making just all the money, and can rarely drop some items that provide ways of making even more money. You guys should take the souls of night to the Guide to figure out how you can force the next two Mech Bosses to spawn in, just be warned, they tend to be a bit more involved than Prime. While I do like that you guys are finally making a Plantera arena, you are jumping ahead a bit, as she won't be able to be summoned until all the Mechs have been beaten. Going forward, grabbing Life Fruits from the Jungle can take your max health up to 500, which is what Blake did near the end there, and actually making buff potions will make life so much easier (something that you found out during the invasion). Potions require water bottles, a variety of plants and ingredients, and that alchemy table you picked up from the dungeon and placed above your chest monster. I'm still patiently waiting for a major Invasion to pop up in your guys' world that'll be a lot of fun, and I am so excited to see how you two react to it and the mess that it's gonna bring!

If you truly want to swap to going full Mage, you're gonna need a whole lot of accessories, some of which can be pretty difficult to get (You'll want to grab a Nature's Gift immediately from the Jungle), and you have to run the the Wizard NPC to buy a lot of Mana Potions. Also, for the love of the Gods, please Reforge your weapons and accessories, as these reforges can make or break most builds as you start to enter the late game. Some of the things you might want to do, later events and some of the coolest bosses (Which are all optional) are gonna be a pain if you don't properly set yourselves up.

As others have started to mention, the Old One's Army has been powered up by you taking down a Mech Boss, and offers greater rewards for being defeated, including new powerful armor sets being sold by you're Tavernkeep (Dani Moo). This is considered the Tier 2 OOA, and there will be a third, and final, Tier some ways down the road. While this whole thing is optional, these armor sets can be some of the best in the game, with extremely powerful bonuses if you build into them right. Right now, they are just straight upgrades over even Titanium armor, and may be worth the fight to get the medals for.

  5. Progression tips:
Up next are 2/3 of the Mech bosses being the Twins and Destroyer(mechanical eye and mechanical worm items to summon)

Iron bars are used in all the crafting for eye, worm and skull, so the guide can just tell you how to craft them.

After that is Plantera, so a great job prepping an arena.

Switching to mage is quite simple with Hallowed armor(made with Hallowed bars from mech bosses).

You might desire mage accessories, so here's a brief break down of the types that will help:

    1. Increase max mana/mana regen
    2. Increase Magic damage
    3. Restore mana/auto drink mana potions.

*Generally, I focus on dps and max mana(as you can manually drink mana potions or simply wait for it to regen).

    Anyway, hope that helps!

  6. @32:42 when you are looking in your void vault, in the bottom right spot, there is a mech summons item. I had seen it before when you summoned skeletron prime. It would help if you made a longer arena for this battle. Two or three layers that you can jump up to or drop down.
For the golden toilet, make a posh golden brick (gold ore and stone blocks) bathroom. The green ore that you cannot mine will spread to mud blocks. That way you can set up farms for it in the jungle.
The frozen key and jungle key you have will open the frozen and jungle chests in the dungeon.

  7. After you beat the 3 mech bosses
    then plantera after that
you could use the corruption key to unlock the corruption chest for an OP throwing melee weapon

  8. I don't know what is the best part if are people in comments not giving the proper schedule or these two not remember what the comments said like the fact for the said plant Boss to spawn need all 3 mechs defeated

I Wonder How much time cloud will figure the hallowed bars in inventory and see the things he can make and realize the Sword is a major component for another craft

  9. Soul of Fright is from Skeletron Prime
Soul of Might is from The Destroyer(mechanical worm)
Soul of Sight is from Twins(mehcanical eye)
If you want good summon weapon, kill Twins next.
You should build plantera arena AFTER you defeat all 3 mech bosses – the reason behind it is you don't get a boss summon. You basically fight it wherever it decides to spawn, which might not be in the are you make, and every failed attempt forces you to either wait or find a new spot. That's why it's important to kill it in the least amount of tries. Thankfully it's the only boss with such mechanic.

  10. you should really start to defeat the other two mech bosses, they need to be summoned via mechanical items. The jungle boss can only be fought after all the mech bosses have been defeated.

  11. Only comment I am going to give you guys: When you have your inventory open, there are a series of Shield looking Icons (colored) next to your gear (just left of it). If you both click the same color, you will be in a party together and able to see where each other are more easily.

  12. Anyone know how i can just quit on "Heroes mod" Or "Cheat sheet" Because I lost all of my skill due to just using these mods and feeling bored without them.
