i'm no expert but, to compliment the new- ahem..*grass* i think you should replace the normal trees in the area with:
* A swamp oak or a mangrove tree, if you wanna go classic but menacingly off-putting for your fellow enemies
* A huge crimson or warped fungus, the extreme colors contrast a lot against the more aesthetically dull environment- plus, they're cool to look at.
You could also add some more darker toned flowers too! (if they can even grow on Mycelium, that is) like:
The Wither Rose or Torchflower.
If you want to add more details to the area, you could add blocks from other realms. Like the Nether or even THE END.
Lizzie's aesthetic is usually very bright and cutesy, think Cherry Blossom trees and a beautiful pastel cottage in an open flower field- in this SMP though, she's actively using darker tones and a more, shall i say, hardcore aesthetic for her place. Which is really cool! she's experimenting with blocks and details to fit that more "i CAN slay the Warden and display it's head for everyone to see, i just don't feel like it rn" kinda vibe.
..also yes, slaying the Warden and displaying it's head would most definitely be hardcore and knock the socks off her probable future enemies. (if that's even possible lol)

Purple concrete powder/wool with gray or black concrete powder for paths might make for a better vibe than mushroom grass

i love the mycellium idea! you could always put some mushrooms or nether plants out and about to make it not so bland!
You could add some darker blocks faded out like your base is spreading it’s corruption around!

lizzie i think you should add paths to your base and add some texture/rocks with stone and cobblestone to break up all the mycelium. maybe you could build some mushrooms as well :3

I think unstripped cherry logs would actually work really well with your current block palette!

lizzie since you think your area is bland you should add some trees with spruce or cherry logs and purple and black leaves – you could use concrete glass wool and terracotta and othe things like that!!! 😁

Maybe if you add little patches of podzol and coarse dirt amongst the mycelium it’ll look barren but more detailed?

I think cherry blossoms would look better with the mycelium than regular oak and birch trees.
Mycelium is spawn proof so no mobs will spawn! I'm not sure if this applied to passive mobs as well

i think the cherry trees would match well with the purple mycelium and so would some mushrooms instead of the oak trees !!
