Stue Valley 1.6 introduces green rain every summer one of these days will be green rain most locations have special tiles that grow new trees on each empty special tile these rates decide what trees to spawn existing adult Oak and maple trees have a 75% chance to convert
Oak becomes type 1 Maple becomes type two any newly grown tree or converted tree will revert back on the following day a newly spawned Green Tree 3 converts to Maple green rain trees will drop and spread Mossy seeds these seeds can grow into any of the three green r
Trees which never revert back to normal trees if you plant a Mossy seed and don’t get the type you want you can pop it and try again in Fall Oak and maples have a 5% chance to convert to Green rain trees which lose their leaves and drop Mossy seeds these convert back in
Spring any tree growing when the green rain hits will grow much faster any sprouted seed and 50% of unsprouted seeds will instantly grow to stage four then three 20% chances attempt to fully grow the tree adult trees have a 50% chance to grow moss under the green rain

Does it increase the speed of growth for fruit trees?
Oh so you have the chance across the month? Also does rain totem affect this.

Also excellent for farming moss. I think I earned around 250 moss from clearing the map of bushes and trees, helped get one of the new statues much quicker!
I'm 75% sure at least some trees do not revert. It might be a mod conflict or me just misunderstanding, but the normal green rain trees seem to stick around. I've gotten mossy seeds out of season from some, too.
What happens if you put tappers on the mossy trees?
Good to know about the fall bit. It upset me with my tapper farm. ALSO! much like the berry bushes, it appears the chance increases with resetting a day
Do you know the radius of which the green rain trees boost moss growth (as per latest patch)? Does having multiple green rain trees with overlapping radiuses stack this chance? I'm thinking of a moss farm setup

If I have a tapper on a tree and it converts to a mossy tree what happens to the tapper
That 5% chance in the fall really annoyingly turned into 90% for me when i was trying to set up my sap farm
I am annoyed by the trees converted in the fall because the tappers don't work on them anymore and i had quite a few of them tapped
OK I'm confused cause quite a few of my tapered trees changed to non leaf versions after the rain. Do they lose their properties as well or is it just visually. Do I need to replant? If so that makes maintaining a tree farm rough

I think my game was bugged because I got my first green rain like normal with all the fiber and ferns trees and scared villagers. but then I got it a second time, and the second time some had scared dialogue like it was the first time and some had dialogue for the second time I guess. Also demetrius wasnt in his hazmat suit the second time but had the same dialogue as if he was.
