Terraria Items I Never Understood…
These are just a few items in terer that I really truly never understood the purpose of and never will you can’t change my mind but let’s start with the Clothier Voodoo Doll its only function is that it allows you to kill the Clothier himself unlike the guide Voodoo
Doll you don’t have to throw it in lava you just have to equip it letting you do damage to him but like why is this even a thing what did he ever do to you the step stool is up next and sure I can immediately see the benefit for all you
Short Kings out there but for pro players like me I just use a hook now consider the Slime gun are we actually sure that’s slime I mean it says it is but can we really trust the devs on this one it seems very close in resemblance
To a liquid called the flare gun is so useless to me personally now I’m not claiming it’s the most useless item in the game but like who are you calling for help flare guns in real life or for emergencies there’s a map area use that
we all know the slime guns true ammunition…

The flare gun was better when the flower boots exploit wasn’t patched. The clothier voodoo doll could be pretty useful if you need a specific drop or the trophy, but don’t get it on the first try. Good video

The clothier voodoo doll can be used to summon Skeletron by using it to kill the clothier at night. This is helpful if you want a specific drop from him and don’t want to go into another world.
The step stool is used for early game before you have rope or a hook and need a small boost to your jump. It can also be used to get extra placement or mining range if you need precision.
The slime gun is useless except for annoying your friends.
The flare gun is meant to be used more as an early game light source like sticky glow sticks but also as defense in a last case scenario.
