In this brand new 1.6 update for stardy Valley we have a new major quest line which actually brings new neighbors to the game so I’m going to dive into this explore this new story line one night when you sleep you will hear a sound event which sounds like strong wind and

A tree falling over and getting knocked down by the wind after hearing this event take a trip down to cindersap Forest next to man’s Ranch and here you will find the tree that has been knocked over before you hear the sound event you’ll just see a big tall tree very

Similar to the one next to it here and here but the question mark will appear once you hear the sound let’s go and interact with it and see what happens next right the old tree is gone however with 100 pieces of hardwood this could be fixed up so your first Quest that you

Need to do is kind of getting this tree repaired and fix it up with 100 pieces of hardwood very very expensive quite pricey once you’ve got the 100 hardwood come over here press yes repair it and we’ve turned it into some kind of little house that someone apparently

Will decide to come and move in once you go to sleep for one night wake up in the morning pay a visit to the tree and this is where you’ll find the little raccoon friend we’ve been trying to scratch our heads for a long time wondering why we

Only have the normal Shad how do you get a smoked one well there is new crafting machines such as the dehydrator and in order to smoke fish you’re going to need a smoker so take a trip down to Willie easy guy for anything to do with fish

Right here you can buy a fish smoker recipe this is quite pricey at 10,000 gold but when you place a fish inside a fish smoker using a coal and a fish this will create smoked fish which is worth double so very good to improve the value

Of the fish just by smoking it and the quality of the fish is preserved now this is where it gets even more complicated because the fish smoker needs sea jelly River jelly and Cave jelly with 10 pieces of hardwood now in order to get these kinds of jellies

You’ve just got to fish in those areas that it’s saying it’s quite rare the more look you have the better look you will uh find this so we’re going to have to try and fish in the sea the river and the cave to find some jelly on the rod

And bear in mind you can actually get this during All Seasons as well to speed things up I recommend crafting some Deluxe bait this is the new bait in the game you now have normal bait wild bait and then Deluxe you just need five pieces of normal bait and two Moss which

Is the new item in the game this will make fish bite even faster and it also increases the size of the fishing bar which is amazing to try and catch the legendary fish to boost your chances because this is super hard and rare to

Get go out on a good look day have some kind of food that will give you a good look bonus the lucky lunch is the best that gives you plus three but if you can’t cook any of that and you’ve not got the ingredients pumpkin soup’s always a good alternative as well cuz

This gives you plus two if you’ve also got the lucky Rings that’s really going to help give you that look and straight away first attempt getting this whilst eating a lucky lunch and we got the river jelly and there we go sea jelly CAU let’s move to the

Caves and there is the last one needed cave jelly let’s go back and make the fish smoker there it is lovely we’ll put that right there all we need is the shad and we’ve got a smoke one and I need to double check if I’ve actually

Got five snails because I don’t think I do H that’s an issue we do have the Shad though perfect luckily I have a crap ton of crab pots and bait so I should be able to get those no problem going to smoke the shed now get that over and

Could even leave so it was very very quick one of the best ways in my opinion to get snails is actually using your little mini Pond here on the farm this Quest alone is the reason why I recommend everyone to keep one of everything never ever sell and clear all

These stuff just keep a couple of things cuz look at this I’m now in need of a lot of resources for this Quest that I haven’t got and if I just kept hold of a few snails I would have been fine I’ve got my snails I’ve got my smoke Shad

And these are the the brand new seeds in the game broccoli now all the new seeds in the game that have been added to 1.6 you can’t actually purchase from the store like PS General store or wherever and now maybe I find a wife so broccoli

Need to be planted in four they will take 8 days to mature and then they can continue to produce after the first harvest after a couple of days the raccoon now has a wife apparently uh hungry need fruits and they’re going to send us on another Chase for more items

And you can see here this raccoon now gives us the options to purchase the new seeds these are the new crops in the game there carrot sum squash broccoli and powder melon so I believe this is spring summer fall and winter these are one new seed for each season but we got

To move the quest further the raccoon now wants coconut jelly and the brand new items in the game dried cranberries when you get the dehydrator just like the smoker you can now dry fruit that is what we’re going to do to kind of grow this family these are our new neighbors

And we got to look after them and eventually we will get the achievement now first of all do we have any cranberries yes we do thank God for that we also need the coconut which I do have oh this is why it’s good to keep one of everything guys I really really

Recommend to do it but now let’s craft the dehydrator so for this you need 30 wood two clay and one Fire Quartz do we have a Fire Quartz oh my God we have one I am the luckiest man alive I didn’t want to go to the mines

To try and hunt for one and there is the brand new dehydrator we’re going to use this brand new room that I’ve created to show off some of the new crafting machines this is going to be used in a separate video as well but you guys get

You need 999 fiber for this if you still needed to get your Forin to level 10 it is one of the odest ones to get up it takes the longest uh reading that would give you a big boost of for XP to allow you to get it up and you can just keep

Buying that as well so you can essentially get to level 10 farming just by farming for fiber so that’s for the people who really need the foraging level up you can now do that obviously it comes at a cost 999 fiber isn’t cheap to get especially if you like doing the

Vegetables and crops we now get flower ones as well oh that is actually really cool so here we go guys I’ve skipped another seems to be like seven or eight days no more babies are growing and they just requesting more items the main thing I wanted was the achievement which

Was help the forest neighbors grow their family not sure if this goes any further I feel like I’ve done what I need to uh and if you just want rewards and help these out and they’ll give you things such as M and star drop tea maybe there’s other items they will give you

Which are quite good to get old of keep doing it playing around with it and see what items you get I mean we even had the um the jungle like terrarium thing so yeah I feel like the rewards might be random but got the achievement that is

The brand new quest line that gives you new neighbors raccoon neighbors a little family living in the broken down tree if you help them do lots of quests give them lots of items and Food they’ll give you items in return and of course you do need the achievement love it it was

Super fun took quite a long time though uh if you’re starting off this is going to be a long thing to do in order to get the actual achievement you’ve got to do it eight times because there’s eight babies in total but smash the like button if you enjoyed it and stick
