Thing about this weapon is the fact that life steals whenever you hit an enemy with it making it go from an okay weapon to an amazing one however why is it so nerfed well in the 1.2.0 point3 update of Terraria this weapon received some massive Nerfs making its damage lower
Its use time higher and its life steal even got nerfed however even though it got heavily nerfed it’s surprisingly still a solid weapon the life steal just does so much and it’s a great support weapon to use in boss fights whenever you’re low on HP what do you think about

When I get lucky enough to get the crimson key without farming for it, I might actually use the knifes (depends on if I do a melee run)

me casually buildes a money and loot farm to get key in like an 1 hour or 2
OP af, considering the fact that melee is the strongest class, it's the best biome weapon ( scourge of corruptor can be easily replaced with flairon, both have homing projectiles)
I use these for the first time when I was given the role of melee user in a legendary world with four people and while I have been playing for close to 10,000 hours at this point I didn't really use them very much because I found that I could do more solid damage as a tank or DPS dealer to the point where I didn't have to have any healing because most of the things I would fight would already be dead before I would reach fatal HP
Its still (in my opinion) one of the best weapons in the game
