Recently I made some purchases I was just browsing online looking to pre-order the stardy valley cookbook that doesn’t come out for a couple months when I found the website fan gamer okay anytime I end up on there is a is a bad day for my wallet but fan

Gamer sells some official stardy Valley merchandise and I decided that you know I’m kind of lacking in the stardy valley merchandise department so I wanted to show you what I got and also talk about the stardy valley orchestra that I went to last weekend and such a cool

Experience I can’t wait to share it with you I got to meet concerned ape the developer um yeah stardy Valley is probably my favorite game of all time you know as somebody who grew up playing farming games Harvest Moon I grew up playing Harvest Moon I think stardy

If the whole vinyl collection is something that I need but but fan gamer did send me a little discount code so maybe I’ll be checking that out so the next thing that we need to talk about is the stardy Valley festival of Seasons Orchestra so a few months ago the

Tickets to the stardy valley Orchestra went on sale they sold out like instantly they ended up adding more shows I went to night two in Los Angeles here at the broad I’ve never seen an orchestra before okay I was a theater kid you know thoroughly a theater kid

And so I’ve seen my fair share of plays and musicals but I have never gone to an actual orchestral concert that was a new experience for me of course I dressed to the nines I had to I figured it was kind of like when you go to the Pantages you

Have to dress up I don’t know I I felt like I just really needed an excuse to dress up so when I went I got to meet so many cool people thank you if you came up to me and said something that was just like so special it made my night it

Made me feel cool and special but I just can’t Rave enough about the show I wish I would have taken more pictures or videos or anything but I just was so overwhelmed um the music was incredible so they performed a lot of the music from the game of course not everything

Cuz we would be there for God knows how long but towards the beginning the developer concerned ape was there came out said a whole you know little thing thank you for coming thank you for being a fan of the game the conductor had little blurbs to say in between the

Pieces so he would be like okay we’re you know just moving into the farm and then we’re going into summer fall spring or winter the music was incredible I loved the whole experience the music hearing it bounce back was just something so special you kind of forget

How gorgeous live music is when you haven’t seen it in a long time but especially in a setting like that where the room is obviously designed to have the music hit you in a certain direction and in different ways and it was just so special it sounded gorgeous and of

Course since it’s an orchestra you know the the the instruments are different right and so they take Liberties and add certain things and I feel like it just added to the whole body of music as a whole it was lovely can’t recommend it enough now I want to go to all the video

Game orchestras okay but at the very end we were all trying to rush out and go get drinks but um the developer was in the lobby and he was signing posters so I got to go up and meet him which was just so mind-blowingly special I felt so

Awward I was like thank you for making such a great game can’t wait to see what you do I feel like that was like the worst pose I could have done it look so awkward but whatever I’m just not a person that like photographs well okay I

Got to learn that but I did buy a poster and I did get it signed so this is now my most prized possession and then it has the tour dates for the orchestra down here this is going in a plastic sheet okay like I’m never touching this again no more dirty grimy little

Fingerprints I’m just going to keep keep that forever protected I also got the inside of this booklet signed this was the tour booklet has an interview with the conductor and everything Jeffrey R Smith you freaking crushed it buddy so this is what we got when we walked in um

So there was no like real program but this booklet that we received doesn’t really have the specifics either the specifics of like you know exactly what was played um but they did a lot of really cute little medley and like they combined of course like um some of like

The Villager themes into a specific piece it was really cool but yeah I also got my booklet signed baby signed sealed and delivered I’m all stardy valed out okay I’m just waiting on that update I do have another stardy Valley video that’s going to be coming out on this
