I have a bone to pick with Escape rooms so I recently tried the proclaimed hardest escape room and man it was hard not because the puzzles were incredibly difficult but because a lot of the popular Minecraft Escape rooms including this one make it so that if you mess one
Tiny part up you’re forever soft locked and you have to either cheat or completely restart to progress that’s not hard that’s just obnoxious so for this escape room my friend and I tried if you don’t bring this trap door from the previous room to this room you’re
Soft locked if you don’t bring this carpet from the previous room to this room you’re soft locked if you even for 1 second hit this random thing sticking up from the floor you’re soft locked if you smelt your wet sponge into a dry sponge instead of smelting your wet
Sponge drinking your milk and putting your empty bucket in this fuel to get a water bucket you’re soft lock but I did find out you can use a water bucket to escape unintentionally

I miss adventure maps. Some of them were so bad they were good, but there were some that had great stories, puzzles, boss fights. Now all people make is these lame escape rooms.
Yes this is indeed how escape rooms work, that's kind of the point. You weren't supposed to be able to escape without conserving resources, like getting a dry sponge and a water bucket, like bringing the carpet, I will say though that string one is dumb. If you only watch kenadian you may think that all Minecraft escape rooms are incredibly easy, but there's some that are actually well designed

That’s because if you were to get a new trapdoor in order to not soft lock you, then it might make farther puzzles easier. Also you need to have command blocks active or like half the room is broken.

The one where you forgot to take the trapdoor is actually better in that design idea anyways because it accounts for the trapdoor. I dont think it should softlock you though.
