This adds a WHOLE NEW WAY to PLAY Terraria…

In this video I found a terraria mod that lets you play as a ton of different races not only can you create and customize all the races but they all have their own unique powers and abilities making every playthrough that you do more unique than the last let’s

Hop into it so here we are with Mr plague’s authentic races I did a video about this back in 1.3 but obviously a lot of updates and stuff has happened since then but yeah we’re here on the menu screen because obviously this is where a lot of the game play of this mod

Is going to be seen because you know we gotta choose and go through all the races and I believe since the last time I checked it out there is a handful a couple of new ones but look at this man we got derpkins we got goblins we got

Lizards we got skeletons wendigos a lot of cool things they’re all gonna have their own special abilities and all that let us go through each and everyone’s special ability starting with the dirt kit native to the Jungle surface derpkin are aerodynamic and deadly press Z to

LEAP towards your cursor press X to spin gaining temporary invincibility and as you can see we have a little bit less Health a little bit less endurance but we get jump speed and movement speed you know maybe I should do this yeah let’s just do it like this we’re gonna we’re

Gonna go through each character we’re gonna hop in game see their special abilities and how they look and we’ll do it like that instead of me just going through Reading all of them and then checking out abilities yeah what is there to really check out here is the

Female version any different not really uh we do get a couple choices for hairstyles obviously we could change the color if we want to let me see like the random button let’s hit the random where can I do random here we go let’s just get some really crazy random boom

Perfect this is what we’re going into the world with dirtkin all right we’re in the world here as our derpkin we’re a little bit faster we get a little bit more verticality but you know we we have a little bit less Health let’s go ahead let’s see the leap ability here

So if I get a good running start that was a bad example if I get a good running start oh my God look at the range I was able to jump let me add in a regular jump and do it too oh I could jump downwards wait hold up is it where

My mouse is pointing it is that’s pretty cool so I can like jump forward go backwards okay I see them that’s pretty dope and then next we have like this spin which does give us invincibility frames it might be a little bit hard to test here hold up there you go she kind

Of went right through the Slime very cool I like this one a lot mainly the jump is is pretty cool being able to travel distance like that especially early game you know early game Terraria your movement’s always bad well that derp kin says Nah not for me next up we

Have the Dragon Kin built for living in arid environments dragonkin are strong and endurance old Z to breathe during smoke or breathe burning smoke damaging scales with defense press X to release a Molotov Fireball damage skills with defense Okay so get plus 20 endurance a little less movement speed a little bit

Less jump speed okay I see them so this one you know may not be the best for early game move marriages movement in general this one actually does get some clothes let’s get a cool looking Dragon Here honestly the red one was pretty cool okay I like this one minus like the

Clothes I think they look better without clothes and that’s not me having a fetish or anything we hop in the world I can’t actually take off my clothes as you can see but oh my God we feel so much slower this is crazy like I don’t

Know about this one just because of how slow you are but let’s see the abilities uh one of them I don’t even remember oh smoke oh wow that looks really cool and on top of that does decent damage early game I was able to take out those songs

No problem let’s go ahead let’s bring in some more enemies here let’s bring in zombies and hit them with the smoke not bad really not bad damage and then let’s bring in some more zombies and let’s hit them with the fireball which is pretty much just like a Molotov

This one it seems like you could actually like spam yeah look at this look at this so you can spam like three four of them so this is pretty cool you can straight up just not have a weapon and on top of that it says it scales

With defense so if I had to throw on say like solar armor let’s see how much our damage does like let me bring in some I don’t know let’s bring you some martians they got a lot of Health you know and oh my God so this is a class he’s straight

Up might be able to do a little playthrough without even having to need a weapon kind of an interesting concept I like this one a lot all right next up we got the flufftron capable of generating paint via an Arcane process flufftradons highly value the Arts Press

Z to paint left click and right click to paint tiles and walls scroll to Psycho color hold X to charge up a powerful leap scales with the max Health hold a or D against the wall and press press space to wall jump scales of Max health

And then we get a minus in damage but we get less mining delay we get better placing speed and we get placement and range so this is like the ultimate Builder race let’s see it in action here okay so it’s this one is the painting ability so left click well let me cycle

Colors here oh yeah this is pretty interesting of a concept like I said if you’re a builder this legit might be like the perfect class for you you know you get some nice early game building you can really change up the whole world early game to your style you don’t gotta

Wait for the pain or anything and it seems like the pain and everything is infinite which is I wouldn’t even say unbalanced or unfair because it’s paint unless paint is actually like killing enemies I don’t know like enemies are oding you know sniffing the paint fumes unless it’s killing them I don’t think

This is an OP thing at all yeah very cool I do like how you can cycle through the colors yeah their other abilities one of them was a leap right something like that oh there you go there’s the lead so like I’m holding the button down

And then as soon as I let go we do our little leap cool I like it all right so it said hold a or D against the wall and press space to wall jump there you go nice little wall jump we get up the wall I was expecting like the climbing claws

Sort of wall jump but not you kind of just like vertically scale up it kind of cool all right on to the next one here we got a goblin known for their effective tinkering goblins forger equipment with dark Flames press Z to Shadow Forge your held items granting it

Unique powers cost Mana press X to unleash a shadow flame Harvester which burns enemies and grants to improve Mana regen cool we get less Health we get more Mana we get more minions in centuries nice and on top of that a little bit of movement so cool let’s go

Ahead Let’s uh randomize them that does not look like a goblin anymore these do not look like goblins I feel like goblins usually got to be green okay this one isn’t terrible I’m going with this one let’s see these abilities here pointy upper shorts so we can reforge

Our weapon that’s uh kind of cool attacking releases Shadow flame Seekers very dangerous thing of a concept pretty cool kind of you know goes together with the uh goblins and their abilities and as you can see we get lingering Flames from this one but then we got a a different one we got

The launching skulls from the other one and then this time we got hurting enemies sets them on fire pretty good what else do we got Bewitched so bewitch is the the shadow Seekers so that’s really cool you do get some options there very nice very interesting very unique I

Like this one a lot and then let us see the other one it was like a right click okay so we just send out some strong stuff pretty much what the goblin Summoner or warlock whatever the hell is called now sends out at you pretty cool

I like the goblin this might be one of my favorites so far along the uh dragonkin next up we got everyone’s favorite race to the human surprisingly durable and resilient humans can adapt to any situation okay I’m just kidding there’s not much to look at there we got

The Ken Coos next naturally capable of flight Cancun possesses greater control over aerial movement while Airborne press Z to swoop forwards press X to fire a volley of feathers fly within range of the feathers to launch yourself you are equipped with natural Wings by default their power skills with Max

Something about a lot of the movement from the uh braces here that feels so smooth yeah we do this we can swoop and go a little bit further which is very cool I believe that goes whatever Direction our Mouse is facing no okay it’s not like that one jump ability the

Dirt can had like I thought I was gonna be able to fly straight up you can still fly a lot as you can see like look how much I’m flying yeah we do that and then our other ability is we shoot a volley of feathers cool let’s see the value of

Your feathers in action here I do have to be flying to shoot them it seems like let me try and shoot them on floor again okay now you can be on the floor and shoot them okay so pretty cool I wonder if the uh the swoop does damage no it

Doesn’t yeah when we get a higher Health dang we only have 67 Health when we get higher Health though we don’t take fall damage which is a pretty cool concept also can coups aren’t supposed to fly or talk that’s something a lot of the comments said in the original video but

Bring you some zombies detonate on them hit him with the other ability detonate on them not as strong as some of the previous abilities we’ve seen but still cool and then let’s go ahead let’s see our mining speed look at this copper pickaxe like come on now hold up let me see me

With like digging claws if I’m moving this speed with a copper pickaxe imagine me some big claws oh [ __ ] yeah this is a pretty good mining class next up we got the lizards or lizard reclusive and highly Advanced lizards are known for their quality of their Creations Brazil opened a goal in

Placing menu scroll through scroll to cycle through selected Golems hold up this sounds fire damage scales with defense hold X to crawl allowing you to climb up walls and fit into small gaps you lose defense or regen outside of the Sun so we have minus 50 damage damn if

Oh my God this is amazing so if I ever wanted to you know I can make a little dungeon that only I can get into wait hold up I’m having trouble getting in here all right let us see the golden menu boom Oh my God how does this work

We scroll we scroll oh man you get a lot of options okay where was this one oh my God this is so dope of an idea you get a little Century here I’m not really hitting anything oh there you go scales with defense so I’m assuming maybe our early game

Ain’t gonna be too strong let’s see the other one though what does this one do oh you can have multiple out okay this one I can’t tell if I think it’s throwing a healing thing rather than a damage thing is what it looks like and then we got this one

I don’t even know what that one did oh it’s a little like turret whoa that’s sick as hell it kind of like disappears immediately though it’s like a turret that moves back and forth on a chain cool next one this one whoa what does he do what does he do I

Feel like he’s supposed to do something crazy but yeah he’s just kind of just chilling his hands do damage though it’s kind of like a wall oh so you can kind of like combo them together we got this one which shoots a laser oh my God

This one is sick as hell why do they disappear so quickly that’s what I want to know like I can’t really get it too good of a use out of them if they disappear uh what else are we back back to the first one yeah that’s what it

Looks like so it skills with our defense let me go ahead let’s put on some good armor oh well I forgot to get naked there we go yeah we got some better armor on let’s see the damage now look at that doing a lot more damage let’s go ahead

Let’s bring out like the the King Slime or something see the damage in action with all the different abilities whoa I don’t remember this one I must have skipped past someone and we got that one and then we got that one and then we got this one and then we got

This one and then we got this one and then we got that one okay I’ve cycled through them a couple of times but pretty cool very very unique concept this might be my favorite one so far next up we got the Lycan temporarily or temporarily Anonymous anomalous lichens rewind and reiterate through the

Situations they create holds you to record time let go to rewind time rewinding all nearby entities to their previous locations whoa hold X to replay your last rerun timeline let go to teleport to the current position in the replay this sounds crazy we get endurance damage wall placement tile

Speed and speed jump speed got it let’s randomize boom there’s our lichen okay let’s see how this works so how how does this work I’m rewinding time recording time whoa so then if I I hit the other button okay say I start here I rewind time or I’m recording time and then I

Let go boom I go back here I press the other button boom I go back where I started recording time so a very unique concept let me like do here let’s record let’s do damage let’s record it and then we go back in time okay so the damage

Stays the same but like the enemy like goes back where it was I could see really making something crazy out of this like you could really do some five head forehead eight head level type IQ moves for this I might be a little too stupid to make some crazy moves happen but it’s

Still dope like say it says like I’m recording recording uh oh I fell down a hole rewind I’m back up here say I fell down again but I wasn’t recording okay okay I I might have messed up you get the idea we’re in pure Darkness right now

Really quick before I forget boom naked I definitely forgot to get naked with the goblin my fault next up we got the merfolk excellent swimming and fishing Murphy breed the water instead of air while underwater hold Z to streamline swim improves control and speed while underwater press X to kick forward for a

Boost of momentum so this is the uh Michael Phelps class this is another one I feel like only makes sense if we’re green so give me like a really good green one there we go as you can see we’re not breathing because we’re in air

We need to be in water boom I’m in water and oh my God the movement right away it’s just so fluid it feels so nice we get that automatic swimming ability now let’s go ahead let’s start using all our abilities here we got that one fluid

Grace and then we got this one which is kind of just like a natural just fast swim one I love the animation Shout Out Mr plague and whoever else helped out on this the animations and the movement just feel so smooth with everything and

Then we got the one where I kick off you know get a little speed boost kick off I wonder if it does damage if I run into anything nah kinda wish it did give me a little extra way to damage something you know sort of like a shield bash yeah

Very cool if you ever wanted to be a merman boom got you right here we’re already naked too we’re coming up on the last five next is mushfolk Luminous and mysterious the much folk feed on health to feel their healing abilities hold C to release trans trap shroom spores

Which release healing clouds upon contact with an enemy healing skills with an individual’s Max Health Press X to create a nymph shroom which teleports you to it upon contact with an enemy so this is kind of like a support class there’s probably not going to be too

Much to show off here I like this one he doesn’t have any eyes we’re playing as this one yeah there’s probably not gonna be too much to show off here in terms of uh abilities just because I don’t have anyone to heal but uh look at that oh I

Like how they actually go with the color of your mushroom my mushroom is like a poo poo brown mushroom so honestly I don’t know if I would take healing from them speak about poo poo brown like look at the color he’s emitting yeah still a very cool we place a big mushroom

Something about taking damage and we teleport to it let me take damage right here go ahead hit me hit me I don’t know what the ability was wait there’s something I have to run into it is that oh the mushroom takes damage not me yeah look at that okay

That’s kind of an interesting concept I feel like you could probably do some cool things with that yeah cool mushroom class you know me game risen one mushrooms mushrooms you know I gotta show love to it top three class my bad I meant to say top three race all right

Next up skeletons reborn through a variety of rituals most skeletons go insane upon reanimation press ZX and see the switch between bodies huh when you dye your skeleton releases its Spirit if you can survive without being hit for long enough you reform a new skeleton and return to life sounds very very

Interesting skeletons oh I like the heads I like how different the heads are pretty cool you get a bunch of different head options which one is the one that makes me look like Sans the most oh it looks like Annie As Long As I Got the

The blue eye it looks like any I meant to put Sans but I end up putting Sam’s whatever alright so uh what was the what was the things okay oh look at that so I could like teleport to my bots yo this is kind of

The different looks tabaxis are cat give me like a Garfield looking cat this looks like an undertale looking yeah whatever I look like an enemy you’d seen undertale let’s see it in action though let’s see this Dash whoa that was pretty cool uh how much can I charge it you

Hear the little noise charger whoa you go so far with it can I like go through the floor or something oh my God I actually can and now I can’t see and then we got the you know the rewind Point set so you say I ran off

Somewhere oh no I’m about to die how do I go back so we got the rewind Point boom Oh no I’m about to die bam I’m here now next up we got the vampire and actually gifted with a form of Soul magic vampires can morph into a bat like

Steak press Z to transform into a bat you enter stealth after a few seconds making enemies ignore you press X1 platform to release your abnormally long tongue which latches on the enemies and drains their health hold up you cannot use healing potions okay that’s that’s a pretty bad thing getting attacked in

Sunlight Burns you alright this one can be fairly dangerous no healing potions is crazy we got another race where sunlight hurts me another gamer type race okay so let’s go into our bat form whoa it’s got a lot of weight to it I can’t fly for too long

Just kind of upset yeah we get a little stealth this would be a nice little Ranger class let’s see that tongue in action here ghost meet my abnormally long tongue look at that latches on and I just absorb how slowly pretty cool but what else can that

Tongue do I don’t know I might have to get this bat in my hands last but not least here we got the wind to go made from an amalgamation of souls wendigos can shred through the fabric of space hold Z detector reality turning you into an intangible missile maximum duration

Skills of Max Health all the acts to attack with your claws shredding enemies defense damage skills with Max Health very cool sounds like a dangerous Clash here we get some different faces give me the long face all right let’s see whoa you go pretty damn far with that now I

Wonder if I could go through like floors oh my God that’s pretty dope and then let’s see the other ability here just straight up claws instead of throwing hands I throw claws let’s bring out like a strong enemy how good are these claws wow they really are not bad

At all this is just like normal mode but still an enemy with 400 help that’s a hard mode enemy skin beat by some claws like come on now let’s bring in King Slime can King Slime take on these claws obviously I mean God looks so obviously

He’s not going to be killing me anytime soon but still very cool uh what was it like more Health it makes me travel further so let me hit myself with like a billion Life Crystals and let me just like travel through the world just straight up you know beam across the world

Let’s see how far it goes okay it open a little bit further pretty cool pretty cool class though I like it my bad I keep saying class I meant to say race but yeah there you go there was a Mr plague race mod there is a couple of

Custom races that people have added in themselves so I might do another future video on that especially since the races are a lot more unique than they were in the past I think it’s very cool that they added in such a big amount of custom abilities to some of these guys

You know some of them really stand out like the lizard the goblin is really cool like there really is some unique races in this a terraria mod that allows you to be racist what can you not love about that yeah make sure to check out the mod shout out the developers and
