How to walk through blocks! | Terraria 1.4.4
I showed this Farm design off in a video the other day due to a quirk and has slopes work in Terraria you can walk through one block thick walls with a simple setup all you need are some building blocks platforms and actuators place the two lines of blocks keeping
Them one thick line the side that you want to walk through with platforms Hammer them all to a stair shape with the flat end against the block then actuate them I Echo coated but that isn’t required now you and enemies can walk through the side of the wall but
Not the other way place a bucket or two of lava to make it a Kill Chamber for a farm

Isn't it easier to just make a pyramid kill chamber? What's the upside to this? All I can see is that it's way more expensive. Pyramid kill chambers just need blocks and a hammer

hoik is a bug that the devs don't want to remove for professional reason
It isn't needed for an actuator but it does make the bug harder to do by abit
never thought about using hoiks to farm. I mostly use them to irritate my friends

i’ve known about Hoiks since they were first discovered, but for some reason me being an idiot never thought to use them for a farm like this. instead i would build the pyramid 🤦♂️

this is called a "hoik" and it WILL NOT be fixed
If i recall correctly you dont have to use platforms. You can just use actuated sloped blocks

Ive already invented that design but decided not to tell sh*t because i know damn well i was gonna get ignored again. Btw the flaw is that any slime enemy will get suck on the top and you have to somehow kill them there or theyll clog up the enemy spawns

how come i never see people using this for volcano traps
I use this to go through the temple door in pre-hardmode to get bars, potions, and gold out of the chests (you don't need to actuate them to do this)
