There is also a calamity texture pack which looks really nice and makes the base game bosses look a lot more similar to calamity sprites
I am so glad you decided to play Terraria again, I remember watching your old Calamity series twice, it was so fun!

High recommendation: if you get far enough, I recommend taking on some of the more… difficult calamity addon bosses, such as Goozma and Nameless deity.
Also you should enable Infernum Mod Music, with new soundtracks and more!

We've been waiting for like a month thank you merg this was truly a moment of all time
56:00 piggys drop gold on death but it is better to catch them with a net as they sell for ten gold witch is the same as gold critters
Here's a few 1.4.4 tips (if I got anything wrong feel free to correct me)
-the beach on the same side as the jungle has a "secret" biome underground that has shimmer, wich is pretty much one of the most important things ever: it uncrafts stuff, changes a few items (from silly stuff like platinum->gold to some actually crazy like magma stone->lava charm)
-Pretty much everything can be stacked up to 9999
-every meelee weapon is autoswing (i think)
-mana crystals now cost 5 stars instead of 3
-rope can go trough platforms
-heart and mana crystals can now be placed

merg in camamity you have to need many pacience because it is like a player playing terraria for first time because calamity have many things MANY just take your time

I shall note that there’s an Infernum theme option on the title screen, at the bottom, as well as infernum health bars in the interface tab of the settings, which’ll help determine what phase a boss is on once you get back to them.
God, this is surreal.
My first ever exposure to Calamity was right after Merg posted his Yharon phase 2 video, which is just about the best introduction to the mod you could possibly get.
Since then, the Calamity Mod has become my favorite game (yes I know it's a mod), and the Calamity Soundtrack is my favorite album.
I genuinely believe the Terraria Calamity Mod has had a significant impact on my life, and it all started with Merg's playthrough.
I've been wanting him to revisit the mod for years now, and I can't believe it's actually happening.
