This is hermitcraft season 10 today we are beginning a brand new adventure with our friends of course there are familiar faces here but we are also joined by two new Hermits this season yeah you hear that I’m not the new kid anymore you should definitely check out the new

Hermits they are awesome and I would also really like the flex that I have met them both in real life um anyways after allowing Mumbo to Bumbo his way through the intro oh um uh hello welcome to hcraft season 10 um it’s really good to have you all here grian explained his

New game so this season we’re going to be playing a brand new game of demise which is kind of like pseudo hardcore now obviously if you die in hardcore you you know your world ends that’s not going to happen here but you do join the dead team but

There’s a little bit of a Twist this time so if you please don’t don’t cuz it will the game will end really quickly if you if you die your name will turn red and you become temporarily a Reaper and your job is to kill someone else who has not died yet okay

And if you then if you succeed that as a Reaper you then join the dead team and you can you can rest easy the last person alive the very last person will receive a very big important mystery gift that we all know but the audience won’t know till later and I think

Everyone desperately wants the prize okay very special so the key thing here is it must be a non PVP kill you’ve got to get creative with it that doesn’t mean that you can’t punch someone off a cliff or whatever but it just can’t be go up to them and whack them with a

Sword because that sucks so that’s the game try and stay alive for as long as possible people oh it’s nice to have a fresh start although it is a little weird to be back to just punching wood hermit Craft season 10 my third season of hermitcraft I’m so excited to get

Started on here and of course in order to do that the first thing I’m going to need is a bit of food just so I can survive oh and I suppose probably also a stone pickaxe hey wait who’s that over there let’s go see oh I need oh that’s not edible I

Get a good lay of the land that we’ve sort of picked out here we do have a lot of options all around this cherry blossom Forest but I have a pretty specific idea that I want to do for my mega base so we’re going to need to

Collect a bunch of materials and also well just you know get started where did everyone go why you’re just frolicking in the flowers alone with a sword I am living my best life this is hello where did everyone go ah just see you jumping around this is what it’s like to live

Next to me Gran I just jump around and I plant flowers you just like just running around with a sword in your hand this is when I’m my happiest turns out I was being a little bit too Carefree in the Cherry Blossom Forest because I was almost the first death on the server

While we were playing okay I had a bit of a head what the I’m fine what happened you’re good je nearly died wait wait there’s a luckily I wasn’t though and instead impulse took that fall for me thank you impulse come back up I’m com back up down two

Hearts why did you do this you knew this Cate was here didn’t you oh my gosh dude how did I not hit that I’m so lucky oh he’s gone he’s dead dead anyways now it’s time to collect some resources and actually figure out where we’re going to

Live for the whole season I’m excited let’s do it oh I found a jungle I love these now I know that one of the best places to find iron in the game ever since that update is actually at a higher elevation so that is what I’m

Trying to do here I’m trying to get up as high as I can and hopefully there’ll be ORS up here please yes I knew the mountains wouldn’t fail me my first Iron of season 10 took me a while I’ll admit but I got there after Gathering a couple of the

Essentials it was time to head back to the Cherry Mountain see where everybody had settled and pick out a spot for myself and luckily I found a pretty good one I think this little plot of land with this weird cave here might just be the perfect spot for me and every

Perfect start starts with a couple of saplings and some very basic Farms boy somebody has got to make an elevator going up here me somebody has to Gan wait did you fix your issue yes did you try to crash me just then no gravel gravel just fell and you’re still

Here yeah I fixed it it was mod oh you of course you’re in the Sheep how did I do that no you’ve got to turn turn I’m not turning turn turning pivot I’m not pivoting you have to Pivot I want a pivot pivot of all the places I

Could have ended up the one no I’m not pivoting I don’t want to Pivot pivot no that’s the worst the Sheep need this spot the Sheep need to move a little bit precarious getting up and uh down on this base but I do think that I

Really like the spot that I picked out I’m going to have to do a few things of course to make it my own but it’s got a a lot of Promise something I’m doing a little bit differently this season is I want to get a bit more into terraforming

Which is something I haven’t touched on a lot in previous Seasons but luckily this spot definitely allows me to do a lot with the terrain I mean you see you see a slight skull looking shape there feel like I could totally see it now before we get too far ahead of

Ourselves talking about the larger base potentials we need to do a lot of the basics like getting cows and just having access up and down the mountain there are a lot of basic survival Minecraft things that we have to do and I’m going to do them I promise but first i’m going

Adventure to see if I can find those dude our little Mound looks so cool from here luckily Spruce Wood in Minecraft is not too difficult to find so before long I was coming back home with loads of saplings and of course one to share with my neighbor impulse in order to get the

Other tree types though I was going to have to venture much further out and on top of that there were a few other things that I wanted from the world and since it’s day one it’s exploring time but with Etho this time I am ready to archaeology yay let’s go

Deep slate level yet I decided it would be probably a good idea to start building a staircase to take me you know all the way down and start mining oo look at this I’m not even down that far in my mind I mean I literally

Of Reds on the server so um they’re going to be trying to kill me I don’t want to demise just you know on my own if I’m going to die I want it to be cool ideally though hopefully I won’t die maybe I could win demise I mean I

Survived the first day of the server this is technically day two now there a chance since we are off to an extremely lucky start I decided to push my luck a little further and once again head out exploring me and Ean had a lot of fun

But we didn’t accomplish a lot in terms of productivity so there were still a couple of types of saplings that I needed and I also really wanted to get an enchanting setup going so I needed a diamond pick and obsidian luckily those things are not too difficult to knock

Out with that out of the way I headed back to the jungle for even more saplings and happen to find a bird friend while I was there this is definitely getting me in the mood to build my starter base but I can’t do it yet because there’s still one more sap

That I need to find and it’s probably going to be the most difficult one Mangrove I need Mangrove I think that’s it I think that’s it oh and there’s a well here wait if I had a brush oh I didn’t bring my brush I absolutely adore this biome can

I just say that it’s gorgeous y gosh I have been at sea for so long starting to feel a little one with the water actually ah that feels better I’m much more one with the water now all right Liza it’s almost time to build a base I

Think I’m going to start today by just placing a little lava Farm in here because well we always need lava it feels like I never have enough fuel in the early game and this seems like a pretty good way to get some oh just got to be super quick got it got

It okay infinite lava is a go now that we’ve explored a lot of the stuff in here it’s so cool being able to see all the way down I cannot wait to see what we do with all of this and with my cows out of this spot here I’m feeling like

There is a lot more room to be able to kind of get my thoughts together about what I want to do here speaking of I believe it’s time we officially set up in the spot you see I’ve been paying attention to a lot of the little details

Around this spot that I’ve set up and I think it’s got some potential I just need the right equipment so everyone it’s time to build a starter base right in the middle of the river obviously where else would I build a starter base okay now bear with me this is going

To be a very uh tiny starter base but I think that it’ll have a lot of potential if you haven’t picked up what I’m putting down yet this is a boat yep I think this will work just fine for a starter base what do you think Liza it’s going to be a great

Home I actually need a block for this that I don’t think I’ve ever really used and this is weird for me okay I’m I’m making concrete for possibly one of the very first times in my hermit craft career this is not a block that I enjoy using that frequently but for this

Particular build I think it would fit don’t get too excited now we’re we’re not doing modern it’s not going to be modern this is quite possibly my tiniest starter house to date which is amazing because my last starter house was a vanilla Minecraft tree but somehow I

Think this is going to beat it because this right here this is my starter house this little cozy 3×3 area of course however this also might be my most detailed starter base ever because this season and that is what I really want to focus on now of course that’s not to say

That I’m not going to be Mega building but I’m very excited to work on some tiny little details to this base and get a good story going before we dive into something a bit bigger the reason that I’m doing my starter base like this is because my starter base is also my mega

Base this is my whole plan and personality for the whole season this starter base it might move but it will not change it’ll look exactly how it looks on episode one on the final episode and it will be a huge part of the final Bel which is why I need to

Really make sure I nail the shape of this boat bear with me let’s uh let’s do This fun is this your boat this is my boat this is where I live I just fin well I’m not finished I have to detail it but I just built it oh it’s beautiful thank you I think it’s too high out of the water and I’m going to

Have to do it all again but it it’s it’s fine I might leave it GL you know if we had half slabs of water I think that would be perfect it does need it needs a half slab of water on put water if I put

It down one it’ll touch the red but when it’s up one it’s not quite yeah they you see my struggle I see your struggle it looks great great shape though thank you thank you it’s the boat from dredge ah my favorite film video game favorite video game I ever played yeah yeah I

Knew it dredge yeah I love that game it’s a boat and yeah as I was saying I played a lot of the game dredge over the January break and that game is my current inspiration for this base now I have done a cheeky little entrance right

Here you just open that door and then you pop up right here on the inside and this this is our base it is Tiny of course but I think there should be just enough room for activities in here I have to decide where to put the floor floor here floor here

Maybe no this might be too low maybe floor one Higher I’m so glad that bebs dropped by for a visit cuz I was actually thinking of him when I was building this base working a tiny little space like this is one of the things bebs is actually really good

At it’s something that he did last season and I want to take a little bit of inspiration from that in building this tiny interior so we’re going to have a little bed up here in the cabin oh I should move this don’t think it’s necessary I think I can do slabs yeah

And then I want to do like little tables of some form here I don’t know exactly what but like levers and buttons and just just you know make it look like I’m actually controlling this little boat in order to save on Space we’ll be able to

Use a little bit of the flooring here and I’ve just picked up some glass and combined with ink sacks we should be able to make black which I think will look best for the window also got copper now so we can make a couple of lightning

Rods to help detail the top as well there are so many little details that we can squeeze into this let’s get our glass in and of course some lightning rods oh yeah that already looks way cool of course we’ll want to move our furnaces inside and I think this can

Actually work as a pretty good chest room FES in the floor and that way I can also access them from down here can put barrels outside for decoration and function ah impulse what the heck that was scary did that make you jump it did what a cute

Little boat you’ve made thank you thank you I’m just detailing it now is miss anything yes what’s missing tires you’re the best yes and you got me a whole stack oh my goodness uh uhh you are bra Tri in the nether with Tango we

Got it done we got the job done oh my goodness it’s going to look so good I needed this really badly for the edges here I just I just need little tires so that when it bumps the side the war if it doesn’t take damage okay oh I know

What you mean yeah the little like buoy thingies uh-huh uhhuh all the details cool okay well I’ll leave you to it I’ll check it out when you’re done okay thank you see you you’re welcome besides with the tires I also wanted to make some chains because I was hoping I could make

This look like it was maybe dropping a crab pot or something and of course got AA here which can I think maybe look like a crab pot if I squint yeah this totally looks like a crab pot okay and then some tires like so there and let’s also do another one on this

Section yep I think that makes a really big difference wow sure is nice to have a boat to fish from again let me give you a tour of my tiny little starter house so this is the main deck this is how we uh enter right through here we’ve got a

Storage room in the lower cabinet which I have organized of course and then upstairs we have my sleeping quarters right here and some little controls for the boat I’m really excited to be set up in this area and there is a bunch of terraforming that I need to do in order

To make this really work for my base which I’m hyped about of course because it’s been a while since I’ve done some big terraforming projects I’m seeing a lot of potential with this land look at all of these underwater caves around here I wonder if we dredge enough in

This area do you think something would come out of them maybe for now I think I would like to set up a slightly better farming area much further Inland that way the farms and the boat will both have more room to exist I think this area over here

Probably works a little bit better for farming anyway and of course if we’re going to be doing our farming over here we probably need a connection to the water like maybe a little Warf I am once again slightly terraforming it’s fine nothing too dramatic just in episode

One a lot of little details we could add to a Warf as well like maybe some composters like that to look like ropes or something crafting tables and barrels to look like crates all around the place there’s just a lot that can be done and just to show how much the environment

Really is going to matter with this build it’s time for a custom tree of course palm trees can be kind of tricky because you need to angle things down and inser rival it’s difficult to get below the blocks that you need but some good oldfashioned dirt scaffolding

Need are some of the leaves to go a bit more upwards not too much though or it starts to look chaotic there we go that is not a half bad palm tree there is something just so cozy about this early game fit for saddles just being able to relax see all

Of my friends going around building up their starter areas farming chilling this is nice fish scar oh my gosh what is on his eyes there goes my fishing rod but I did get another saddle which is lovely cuz we can put it on the camel that I got with [Laughter]

Etho for now though I have a lot more Base building and gearing up to do since we are in a game of demise I figure it’s probably a good idea to get a base level of protection on some of my gear it’s not much but it should help
