Terraria Hardmode, but I can only use half of the items…

This is a weird idea, but I thought it would interesting if every item in Terraria had a 50/50 chance of being useless. Basically Thanos’ infinity gauntlet spell, but with Terraria items. I added a few tweaks to it here and there to try to make it more even among the pool of items, but overall, this could still be very rough if we lose some important assets… (Yep, Hardmode is terrible)

  2. My only thought for the destroyer randomly losing a bunch of its health just after spawning in is that a falling star must have hit its spawn point, cleaving through most of its segments for tens of thousands of damage.

    it appears he got hit by a star? (multiple of them/multiple times from same one? 120000 -> 110840 (-9160) ->92345 (-18495) -> 88395 (-3950))
    altho dunno how accurate this would be, iirc piercing projectiles have damage reduced when hitting same enemy multiple times…or…is that a modded thing specifically? I'm lost in this by now
