And then this week it’s been a little bit better but like you know just kind of trying to figure out a lot of stuff there’s a lot of like onboarding stuff that I’m doing this week because I told y’all I’m delegating I’m outsourcing my editing

Eddie’s gonna be doing more of my editing this year and then also I’m outsourcing some of my like admin stuff the admin stuff that I do I don’t even know how to explain it to y’all but like the admin stuff you have to do for content creating can take so much useless time

It’s just like busy work too it’s not even stuff that like makes sense it just it’s useless busy work not useless like obviously it’s doing something for me but like I my time is so much better spent somewhere else and so I’m outsourcing that as well and it’s just I think the

The initial like investment of time you have to put into like on boarding people to be able to outsource is rough like I spent a lot of time I think I talked about how I spent a lot of time making like no I didn’t talk about this

I spent a lot of time making guides basically for the person who’s helping me with admin stuff which is Maya Maya is helping with admin stuff I spent a lot of time making guides and stuff so that it was very clear to them like each step and everything

And like they didn’t have to like of course they can ask questions if they want but like they wouldn’t have to they could just like go reference that because like I wish I had those kind of guides when I started working places selling selling selling

So, it’s just a lot of like front load investment and then I feel like the the payoff in time that you get back is like so worth it but it’s just like I’m in the stages right now where I’m like it’s like so much work just to bring other people onto

Like my team and stuff but luckily with Eddie Eddie close your ears okay gonna be some compliments coming but luckily with Eddie we’ve been working together for so long we’re talking about it today we’ve been working together for like two and a half years and so they know just like exactly what

I’m looking for like at all times and so for us it was just kind of like talking about how to shift that over to like my other content like my other styles of content so luckily that was not like this like very time consuming stressful on boarding at all and that was like

It actually made me feel more relieved but okay I’m just gonna put them put this in this chest but in general sometimes the process of outsourcing can seem like almost more work than it’s worth at first which I think is why it took me so long to start the process of doing

But yeah and I think it pays off at least for my mental health like at least that’s that’s I would pay a lot to maintain my sanity and that is what I’m doing you know what I mean like that’s what I’m investing in my own mental health is what I’m doing and sustainability

So yeah that’s that so anyways that’s like my point was that uhhh my point was that I had a rough week and then this week was kind of just like a little bit more busy with onboarding and then um um um um um um um

That the craft room is what was keeping me going like it was truly my my everything it was like what was bringing me joy and purpose and like I would wake up just excited to work on it and now that it’s over I’m just like waking up excited to like go use it

And that’s fun I haven’t gotten to yet but little things like that just like changing your environment a little bit I feel like makes you- brings brings the life back into you you know changing up routine at least for me I know for some people routine actually

I’d love to hear from y’all like God damn it are you the type of people where you’re like routine is my everything I like I thrive with routine and if I don’t have routine then I am upset and dysfunctional or are you like if I have routine

I feel like I need to I can’t just like get rid of that I can’t just get rid of that and so I’m excited I’m excited to have a like an outlet for that and just like an outlet for exploring new forms of like gaming content stuff

Cause I just feel like I can’t freely do that not not that I can’t like I I literally will do whatever if I want if I feel like it on my channel but like and do but I feel like I don’t want to I really like having the separate lifestyle channel

And I want to just like continue to go down that road and like discover things and on that side but then I also like want to do so much in the gaming space and so yeah I’m just excited I’m excited you guys are excited I’m excited we can continue our little chatty

There’s so many different styles there’s like I wanna do long plays with commentary long days without commentary I wanna do games with people like Alyssa my friend Alyssa wanna do like Sims challenges by myself and with Alyssa I wanna do like game demos like I just want to do so many things

Like actual sit there and cozy game with me while we body double like things like that I feel like it’ll just be really fun to explore that Yay oh I like Ji she’s cute I’m excited and I think it’s also for me this channel like my actual

My main channel is like I’m like I have to post once a week I have to post one Stardew a week and I have to post one video a week and for the gaming one I’m just not putting that same pressure on myself where I have to post one once a week

I feel like that’ll be maybe the or like once every other week but not at all is it gonna be the same standard I have for here I think hopefully having that pressure off will mean that I don’t feel like I have to get something in and posted and stuff

And I can create a little bit more balance in that and just feel free to like create things when I feel inspired or like excited about it or like can take can really put time in on it so that’s that’s my thoughts on that and I’m excited I also like

Have been to a couple creator events recently where I feel like my thoughts and feelings were validated in that like other creators talked about they were able to kind of thrive when they started second channels and like you know focused on X instead of y and so I feel very good in

In the decision and I’m excited to be able to like explore that yeah I don’t know I’m excited and just like hopefully having a little bit more time to like play around and be more creative and more like like just I’m gonna try this since you know throw stuff at the wall

I’m in such a like routine because I’m so busy that I’m like okay I have to do this I know how to do this I don’t have to spend any extra time thinking about how to do something new so I’m just gonna do what I know
