How to OUTSMART the OOA Anti-Cheat!
This is a platform a block that enemies can normally walk through as a result it passes the ntg test that aims to prevent the player from blocking off the path to the Eternia Crystal however unbeknownst to the game this is no ordinary platform you can’t actually walk through it and
You guessed it neither can the enemies here’s how to set it up we’ll be making use of a hoyk by placing a block down and then hammering it until the squared Edge is off the ground facing the crystal then all you need to do is block
Swap it with the platform do the same on the other side and you’re done you’ve successfully outsmarted the antique
The Old One’s Army has a variety of countermeasures in place to prevent cheesing the event. Things like preventing the event from starting if the terrain isn’t even, the inability to place blocks after the event has started, and even allowing the OOA enemies to phase through blocks. However, as of 1.4.4 there’s a super cool way to bypass all of these and all it takes is a couple of platforms!
With the help of a hoik, the block swap mechanic, and a platform, you can completely halt all but the flying enemies of this event!

You can also put the eternia stand on acuated blocks then actuate them with a lever/swith but make sure there is a space below the blocks for the crystal to fall down. Then the crystal will be under the ground while the stand will be dopped on the floor fot you to pick up
Such an amazing trick but i beaten the "Old one's army" even without it, well it was on mobile but it was still in master mode.

I think they patched this, OOA's phases through objects until you are right next to them. God, this thing is annoying!
