Day here I am making my livelihood off of judging video games based on if they have an hour of gameplay per dollar spent on it mixed with my own very very strange opinions and I see that I still have this game that costs $10 collecting dust in my steam

Library I mean heck why Not Terraria is a Sandbox game with some action and adventure elements thrown into the mix that was developed by Rel logic in 2011 hey this game is almost 5 years old now that’s what oh gosh I need to sit down uh anyway this 13 uh this 13-year-old game is held in

High regard to this day you adventure around a randomly generated ecosystem finding enemies Gathering Treasure spelunking and so much more it really is the definition of a make your own adventure type of game the game has very lovely pixel art accompanied with a very simple yet atmospheric and funky

Soundtrack that makes your adventures Outdoors a real treat crafting in this game is essential whether it’s to invite NPCs into your home make better tools and craft potions and things to help you in the tides of battle I will say if you don’t know exactly exactly what to do or how to

Craft something it can be very daunting like look at this what is my ADHD riddled brain supposed to do with all this but oh bunny the actions that you take whether they be fighting digging or chopping down trees is pretty archaic and simple but that isn’t necessarily A

It’s the best gift I’ve ever gotten so this game rocks no flaws with it Whatsoever terraria’s Open Fields and boundless Freedom can be daunting at first and might not be for everyone however if you get your friends in on the fun I tell you what the quality of this game really shines through it’s meant to be played with multiple people

In my humble opinion for me the game is a celebration of capturing a simpler time where you could play pretend with your friends take down the monsters and be the heroes of your own story I’m incredibly blessed and grateful to have such a great friend who took the time

Out of his busy schedule to embark on a goofy misadventure with me through the winding tunnels and vast fields of a video game it’s moments like that that I’ll treasure forever if you want a game to play on your own I’m sure some people will find Terraria enjoyable but if

You’re anything like me who likes games with a bit more structured to them this game probably won’t do anything for you however if you’re looking for a game to relax and play with your friends well this game might just be the thing you’re looking for so what’s the final verdict
