Do you want to know a sty Valley secret well check this out all you need is a side and a fishing rod then you’re going to take the path behind Leah’s house leading into town once at the edge swing your side until you’re completely off the screen you’ll still need to swing
For about 30 or 40 seconds even after you’re completely off the screen but after that you can go down here past Leah’s house past all these trees past the sewers and into this water here then you’re going to cast a line and catch a present what’s in this present well

you need to stand at the very edge of the sewer drain area and have a maxed fishing level. then eat gold-quality seafoam pudding (made with qi seasoning) and send out a max cast and youve got it! alternatively you can eat regular seafoam pudding and use a fishing rod with the Master enchantment. i believe this can be done before trash bear renovates the area but i havent gotten there yet so im unsure
Omg THANK YOU TTOTT. I completed the trash bear storyline before I knew about fishing in the gunk and I've been devastated not knowing if I would ever get it in my main save file
