In this video we will look at top 10 rarest creatures in Terraria: Journey’s End and I will show you how to find them and how to increase their spawn rate.     Fun fact: not all golden critters have the same rarity. Most critters, such as the seahorse and the water strider, are only spawnable under certain circumstances.

    6:57 when i saw it as a begginer i didn't kniw it was veery rare to find, when i saw her again as a pro i just said "naah, what piece of luck will upgrade? I already have on goldmode"

    I'm a beginner on terraria but I honestly been lucky since when I was digging underground I found the enchanted sword and when I went up I stumbled upon a golden bunny just near my base and when I placed fossils on the extractinator I got the dinosaur egg. All of that in a span of an hour

    Wrong, I get a pinky banner almost every normal playthrough. Truffle worms constantly turn up in the biome. I'll give you the rune wizard, tho if you make a farm in the bottom of the world before hell it'll turn up constantly. dreaughnautilus is just a fishing enemy, can't call it rare in my opinion. Tim is rarer than the rune wizard, so you're right with that. Nymphs aren't rare?! I have multiple chests filled with metal detectors because I keep getting stupid nymphs!

    Really? That’s kind of sad): my world got deleted and it had like seven gold critters inside one of the chest it had some bunnies and squirrels and I think even a butterfly but I don’t even remember it was like a year ago since that I played it and when it got deleted. I don’t even know if Golden butterflies are in the game I didn’t have most of the stuff at the start but I had most of the stuff at the end like for example I found the archaeologist thing and the nymph and some gold critters. But but I didn’t even know that Tim was a thing (sorry I edited this thing I had to make some spelling mistakes that’s why please don’t worry about why it’s edited).

    If you have trouble finding gold water strider, try find and oasis, clear the cattail, build 3 npc houses on the right side, then dig below the house to fill in lava to prevent critters to spawn on the right side, make sure to clear all the blocks just like making normal farms, now stand on the right side of the oasis, until you cant see the water, and wait, all critters will spawn only in the left side where the oasis is, so as the water striders, if you are playing in journey mode, just trying to research this critter, try set the timer at around 5pm where the sky starts to turn orange, then set the weather to not rain, and wind speed below 10mph, additionally, use water candle, luck potion, battle potion, gnome, lucky horseshoe, lucky coin, guide to critter companionship, and lifeform analyzer, keep your eyes on the analyzer, so you can catch the gold strider before it despawns, and goodluck, only took me around 1 hour (on journey mode tho) to catch 3 gold water striders
