The Terraria 1.4.4 update introduced quite possibly the best item in the game the shell phone it’s a must-have for easy transportation in your world between your ocean underworld bedspawn and World spawn and for knowing just about everything about your character and world it’s a costly item to make

Requiring a modest 15 items to make but believe me when I say it’s worth it better still you could Farm all the components for it pre-hard mode after Skeletron is defeated in your world so go grind a platinum or gold watch a depth meter Encompass a radar tally

Counter and life form analyzer a DPS meter stopwatch and metal detector a fisherman’s pocket guide Weather Radio and Sextant and finally a magic or ice mirror magic conch and Demon cons and Away you go what I consider to be the best item in Terraria
