Terraria’s working GOD MODE Glitch (1.4+)
This is how to go into god mode in Terraria by using a special glitched out chest and some flares you can stop everything in the game from hurting you and this will work on the current version of both Terraria and team odd loader but only on PC to start you will
Need to get one of the glitched out chests which you can easily find in my custom map on the Steam Workshop named God Mode glitch once you have one of them if you put your cursor over the chest you will notice your player will glitch out and this is where you will
Get semi-god mode where no physical attacks can hurt you to get full god mode you will need to shoot out 999 flares which stops all projectiles from spawning since the flares take up all projectile slots meaning the only things left are stuff you’ll be immune to

You can get the chests on mobile
or you could… you know play journey mode? It’s actually easier and perfect for starter terrarians

my tablet terraria character not taking any physical and projectile damage but still take fall damage and debuff
Only problem is that it takes a lot of time to spawn 1000 flares, and flares only last a few minutes, so once you’ve fired all the flares you only have like 3-4 minutes left

If I’m going out of my way to install a map world to get a chest then I’m just going to install a godmode mod
The chest is on xbox and when you spam it on someone it crashes their game

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but that's Journey mode
You don't need a custom map for this you can use the philosophers stone glitch and a campfire to do it. Ethyriel Y has a good tutorial on this and the setup is like 5 minutes.

Yeah, can't recommend that trick.
Not because of the chest but the gun. Tried it out once. Found out that way that the Nights edge only deals projectile damage.
Step one: go into adventure mode
Step two: go into world setting while in adventure mode
Step three: enable god mode
This is how you can get god mode!
TMod Version! Download cheat sheat and turn on god mode.
Terraria Version! Play journy mode and turn on god mode.

Ngl, beach balls work better, they won’t despawn unlike the flares, but it’s more time consuming
