100 NEW Content, Features and Beyond Showcase | Stardew Valley 1.5 Update | New Quests | New World

Hey hi howdy and hello friends wiki here and in case you haven’t heard concerned eight hit us with a doozy with the release of the 1.5 update that has a whole lot more content and depth than what i imagine anyone was expecting now i’ll be covering a ton

Of the new features included with guides and whatnot so be sure to subscribe and get notified of all the new stuff coming out now it should go without saying that this video and all the 1.5 update videos i’ll be making are going to be absolutely dripping with spoilers it’s

An end game update so i can’t really thoroughly cover any of it without letting you guys know that first i made a video covering 100 features for the last update so back by very popular demand here i am doing it again all right so let’s dig right in

Here is a showcase of 100 new features content and beyond for the 1.5 stardew valley update to be honest there is so much more than 100 and there are a few things that didn’t quite make the top 100 list but i’ll link the change log so you can

Check that out for yourself too first up we have the new world area get ready to set sail to the brand new region in fern island we are heading to ginger island there is a new npc that we can become friends with named leo with his own storyline and secret quests

There are three new quest giving secondary npcs each with interesting things to do with them as well ginger island has a brand new volcano dungeon which is different every day that you visit there are some new end game challenges with mr qui which unlocks rare or unique items and craftables

You can unlock your own island farm on ginger island where you can plant crops any season all year long but you can’t add any new buildings on this place though later on you can unlock a resort which lets villagers visit the islands when the villagers visit the islands and

The resort you’ll see that they have new beach attire there are a ton of new hidden pages scattered all over the island of a lost sailor’s journal to help you learn more about the islands you can find golden walnuts all over ginger island which are used to unlock new areas and content

Shake a coconut tree and sometimes you will get a golden coconut too you can crack these open over at clint’s there’s a cool secret involving new random gem birds which will show up in the rain and drop gems 17 new enemies have been added into the game including different variations and

Specialty ones just for this volcano dungeon ginger island is rich with life including some new ambient critters that fit into the island theme likes these crabs and birds and some monkeys too oh and a new island obelisk for quick travel to ginger island which you can unlock after you’ve been there

We’ll come back to the stuff involved in ginger island in just a little bit let’s first go over some farm features that have been added starting off a new farm there’s a new button for you to try out the advanced game options which gives you a couple of different things you can adjust

Like making sure that you can finish the community center in the first year or you could even mix up the community center bundles and also adjust your difficulty in game as well there is an awesome new beach farm layout which i’ve showcased already in a video link in the description

This one’s gonna make your play through just a little bit more difficult you can get a ostrich as a farm animal yes plus it comes with ostrich eggs of course in multiplayer cabins you can now move that dresser finally home renovations have been added you can go to robins and

Change the layout of your house by adding on rooms and removing walls up you definitely gotta play around with this meds are movable guys which is awesome for people like me who pass out really easily you can even remove it completely though your spouse is not going to like that

After the greenhouse has been finished you can move it at robins too if you build a new shipping bin you can move or demolish the first one you get which is great if you want to change the layout of your farm cosmetic paints can be added to the farmhouse

And your farm buildings in different sections too so you can personalize and customize your farm how you like ducks ducks man ducks are swimming in the water y’all which is awesome it doesn’t happen just on the beach farm i’ve got it on my own farm as well

Certain animals from the coop can now follow you around as you’re doing your chores all right let’s go check out some other features there is a new dwarvish forge with weapon enchanting now i have already made a full guide all about this forge so be sure to check that out

Linked in the description we have ring combining added into the game which i also covered in that same video it is crazy there is a special orders board that has been added which will give you some new quests to help your villagers with their personal projects you get some pretty great items as

Rewards as well and there is a second community upgrade added which you can purchase over at robinshop it adds more connectivity to the map like getting from this side to this side pretty easily i’d say it’s well worth the money you want more challenge you got it there is no

More difficulty added to skull cavern and the mines accessed in late game with a new shrine called the shrine of challenge when you check the weather there will now be a report for the weather in ginger island after you have it unlocked plus there’s a fishing tv

Channel that you can get unlocked after certain criteria is met ginger island is called ginger island for a reason there is a new forageable on this island ginger root fiber seeds are unlocked as a recipe after a specific quest these are fantastic you can plant them never have to water them

And they’re harvestable every season there’s a new mahogany tree which you can chop for some hard wood and plant to grow around pineapples are one of the brand new crops you can plant this once and keep harvesting from it all year long we also got the crop for the tarot tuber

It works much like the rice shoots where it’ll stay irrigated next to a water source there are two new fruit trees that you can plant the mango tree and the banana tree the special palm trees on ginger island give you coconut so be sure to shake them when you see them

There is a special a funky looking fruit that you can get available during a very special quest all right let’s go over some changes that we have there is different dialogue for year two of the egg festival plus if you have a kiddo you’ll see them scampering around too

Some pop-up shops have been added to specific festivals like the dance of moonlight jellies feast of the winter star festival of ice and the luau in those festival shops you will find some brand new items added too you can now change your name favorite item and gender in the wizards basement

A perfection rating has been added which tracks the percentage of game content that you’ve completed full completion unlocks a bunch of new stuff some of that stuff being golden chickens you can get some of these eggs once you’ve gotten a full perfection rating and a golden witch event which i can

Only assume acts like the regular one but granting golden eggs instead of void eggs See this folder that’s a nice boulder behind it is an unlockable summit with a new event critters and items which is available after you reach a full perfection rating oh this is great customizable sprinkler attachments there are two new sprinkler attachments that you can get an enricher that automatically applies loaded fertilizer

And a pressure nozzle that increases the sprinkler range mind blown okay let’s go over some of the new items in machines we have a bone mill which can turn bones into fertilizers a coffee maker which brings you a fresh cuppa every morning must have this the recipe for a cookout kit which lets

You cook on the go you can’t take it with you it’s a one-time build a dark sign displays an item without consuming it much like the wooden or the stone signs just much cooler looking a deconstructor it destroys a crafted item but salvages their most valuable material

The farm computer it scans the farm and displays some pretty useful information a geode crusher the tool to put clint out of a job i i mean it consumes cool to crush geodes automatically a heavy tapper which works twice as fast as the normal tapper oh a hopper which autoloads items placed inside

Into the machine in front of it i’m going to need a lot of these special junomo chests now these are linked to a globally shared stash so you have one here and you can access it from a different area mini obelisks which let you warp between two mini obelisks when placed on your

Farm like this an ostrich incubator a special incubator just for the ostrich egg it goes into your barn so these birds are way too big for your coops you gotta put them in the barn solar panels this will generate batteries for you generated from the sun

A stone chest like the wood chest but stone oh look at all the colors a telephone man i could have used this before these can call stores to check hours and inventory plus you can get random phone calls too the island warp totem which warps you of course to ginger island

There are 11 new edible items six of them with recipes time to start a new cooking challenge i guess deluxe fertilizer which is like quality but much better deluxe retaining soil which always keeps your soil watered overnight i have a feeling that’ll be helpful for the beach farm

Hyper speed grow which increases the grow rate by 33 percent there are three new fishing tackle that you can use in the game nice a ton of new loot for special quest like bone fragments fossils snake bits and such the tiger slime egg yes use with extreme caution you say new

Crafting ingredient called the cinder shard oh yeah we got some fairy dust which can be used on a machine to instantly finish the processing a tasty new magma cap which is a new mushroom with some very umami stats monster musk a special perfume which causes more monsters to spawn

Yikes clea seasoning which increases the quality of your cooked recipes wait does that mean that i can have gold star quality pocket fish yes it does radioactive ore and radioactive bars these are very end game items for crafting the horse flute oh Holy red dead redemption 2 we can now summon our horse while we’re outdoors Oh and a mushroom tree seed yes finally perfect and auto putter which is a lake game item from the jojo route because not petting your animals is cold-hearted i guess there is another way to get it but i’m not sure how yet a bunch of new quest items for your npcs

Technically you’re not supposed to keep them much like the purple shorts seven new unique rings and we’ll probably go over all the ways to get those in another video at least 15 new hats some pretty crazy great ones i’m loving the looks of some of these Six new clothing items taylor made from the new island items four new pairs of shoes including one that is particularly nice dwarven weapon variants of the sword hammer and dagger new dragon tooth weapons the cutlass the club and the shiv some new end game weaponry the infinity blade

Infinity dagger and the infinity gavel a new weapon called the iridium needle you gotta stick them with the pointy end The ossified blade now that’s pretty awesome some previously unavailable weapons can now be found especially if you use the re-mixed mine rewards option when you start a new playthrough three new regular fish to catch the stingray lionfish and blue discus five new legendary fish that you can catch with a special quest

So much new furniture that i can’t quite cover them all in this video there’s 35 paintings 14 new beds 10 rugs eight divider rugs which you put in between the two rooms to make it look seamless some new statues and some new lighting plus an iridium crobus yes

Five fish tanks that you can put your fish in for display be sure to drop some seaweed in there too two new great-looking floorings for around the farm some new debuffs from these new enemies as well 15 new hairstyles including some good stuff for the curly hairs out there

You can receive mail from crobis with their own special stationery a couple of brand new easter eggs to be found too wow that sure was a lot and it wasn’t even everything i haven’t even gotten into the quality of life improvements and adjustments to the game but i know for
