Here are five mods that change the aesthetic of stardew Valley by far the most popular is Daisy Nico’s earthy recolor it tones down a lot of the harsh yellows of the game to turn them into a more earthy Brown a great combo with that mod is Medieval buildings it
Redesigns all of the buildings on your farm to be more earthy sometimes even overgrown with Ivy and I just think it looks nice with the earthy recolor next we have star Blue Valley which as you could guess makes the world a bit more blue and a great mod to pair with that
Is simple foliage which changes the designs of trees and bushes and is also compatible with star Blue Valley and for one more recolor we have the blue grass recolor it’s got a bit of a dreamy quality to it

can you get any of these mods (or any mods) on the switch?
some mods i use are rosier colored glasses, spanish revival buildings (the greenhouse in that one is amazing), themed catcrows, glass milk bottles and mason jar preserves jars! ๐
i love starblue
i also think it does a bit more than make it bluer but iโm not 100% sure

My favorite is the furry NPC mod, because I'm trash
Donโt forget about the Omori valley, it brings the headspace colors to The Valley
I usually us the recolour mod called "rosier coloured glasses" which gives everything nice, warm – pinkish tones and i think it's quite underrated

Instead of Mediaval buildings I use Seasonal buildings so every season they become different, I also use seasonal outfits for the NPCโs and it adds a little immersion into the game.

to be honest the first one i think makes the world luke to dark i like the brightness
Earthy Recolor is acrually really nice for accessibility reasons! For people like myself with light sensitivity issues, toning down all the colors can make the game way easier to play since my monitor isn't blasting super bright colors at me. Hell, even winter, the biggest offender, gets a color palette thats easier on the eyes.
The vanilla color palette was fine years ago when I was playing on my switch, but that screen can get way dimmer than my monitor can and the last time i regularly played the game on my switch, my issues were nowhere near as bad.
if anyone csn help be that would be awesome. ive been trying to install a mod to my stardew valley game but everytime i load it it doesnt work.ive been doing everything the video or instructions told me to do. do i really need to have smapi to use mods? or do i just need to add the mod a differeent way ? pls help

My favourite aesthetic mods are project yellog and foliage redone!
My go to mod is CJB, it opens a cheat menu that allows you to change hearts and give you whatever you need

I just love the cottage ore vibes of Medieval Buildings, and Wayback Pelican Town. I donโt think thereโll ever be an aesthetic mod that I like more tbh
The simple foliage mod also works sooo nicely with the earthy recolour

I tried the medieval for Expanded and it only changed Olivia house and the rest didn't can someone help me?

I like the Earthy Recolor but I don;t like the changes on trees, I just want to change the yellowish color of the ground and nothing else

I have the medieval buildings and I love them! Also, another cool mod is the hot springs in the cave! Itโs super cute and you can replenish energy energy like you would at the bathhouse.
i actually trued the earthy recolor, but it changes the look of the game too much for me XD i mainly just need the yellow ground to tone down a bit cuz it was giving me a headache if i played too long. i might have to chevk out the starblue valley mod instead, looks like it ends up just toning down the yellow
