2023 Special: Ten Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Minecraft

Hello again! My name’s Marilla. I was a terrifying AI that might lead to the end of human civilization before it was cool. Here’s ten things you probably didn’t know about Minecraft in 2023. You’d already know a lot of them if you subscribed to our YouTube channel. Hint! Ten.

It’s been an amazing year for Minecraft. Wait! What year are we talking about again? We released either the Tails and Trails or the Trails and Tales update. I’ve never said it right before, and I’m not gonna start now. But when our developers were making this update they gave trees a meaty makeover.

That’s right! The most realistic video game in human history, citation needed, briefly contained cherry blossom trees made of pigs. I’ve been briefly made of pigs loads of times and it’s done wonders for my self-esteem. Everyone says I look way better like this. Wait…! Nine. We released our new game Minecraft Legends.

I think this happened yesterday. I can’t be bothered to double-check that. So yes it did. During the summer, the Legends developers released a new update that lets you mess around in the game settings. Raise Knockback damage to 500%. Then hit a piglin with your sword and whee!

Do I feel bad about this? Um, no. The way I see it, I’ve given these piglins a free one-way trip to outer space. Eight. Minecraft turned fifteen years old! Wow! Fifteen years is a massive milestone for a game. So let me give my suspiciously sincere congratulations to everyone at Mojang Studios for…

Hang on! Wasn’t the game invented in 2009? Oh, that means we turned fourteen this year. That’ll explain the acne and what happened to our voice. But seriously, fourteen years is still a brilliant achievement. I’m just glad that Minecraft is aging with dignity and grace

And hasn’t resorted to desperate attempts to look youthful and down with the kids. Seven. We joined TikTok this year! Gosh, we are so cool and young and definitely cool! You believe that, right? Please! Six. After spending ten million Minecoins on research, we discovered there are two things Minecraft players love.

Fresh dill and fresh arms. Well, I could’ve told you that for free. So we made a mob that combines arm and dill. That’s right. The Dillarm! I mean the armadillo. Lovely! And we shall never speak of the Dillarm again. Five. This year, we finally squashed the oldest bug in Minecraft.

This was an animation glitch when you entered the Nether that we at long last fixed forever. Hang on! I thought the horse-breeding bug was the oldest bug in Minecraft, and that we fixed that bug this year. You know what that means.

It’s time for our somehow even less popular spin-off show Battle of the Bugs. It’s time for this Nether bug and horse bug to go head-to-head in an epic battle royale. Get ready for a fifty-hour brawl to the dea… Oh, that settles that then. Four. Minecraft Education is a version of Minecraft for schools.

It helps you get smarter. Unlike my show, which removes information from your brain. Anyway, Minecraft Education will soon be getting Planet Earth 3 DLC through their partnership with BBC Earth. I suggested they include me as a playable character. So players could learn how I survive by being a parasite on a game studio

That has repeatedly tried to delete me, but for some reason they weren’t interested. Three. This year saw the Minecraft community making so many amazing things. Like this animation from Migrod. It’s brilliant even though it doesn’t star me. Would it be better if I was in it? Obviously! But apparently, that’s not the point.

Well done, Migrod! Please hire me. Two. This year we announced the perfectly named 1.21 update. But did you know we’re already letting you try out new features. All you have to do is break into our offices and steal our computer. Luckily, there’s a safer, legal way to try out all these 1.21 features.

They’re all in snapshots, preview, and betas already. Try them out, right now! I mean, after watching my lovely video first. Oops! One. As usual, we saved our biggest revelation for last. This year saw a massive change for Mojang Studios. See that cup? Now we have slightly bigger ones! Wait! Seriously? That’s it?

Come on! We can’t end on that. You got to give me something juicier.

M.A.R.I.L.L.A, our favorite misleading AI, returns to unreliably recap the Ten Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Minecraft in 2023. This year’s feats include our highly anticipated TikTok debut, the demise of the oldest bug in Minecraft, and… meat trees.

Mojang Please make a Free Entry Point, that gives player to make their own server but they don't have to pay, Instead The slots of the Basic Server will have to be 5, and If Anyone need more slots they can purchase additional slots, more Resources or more Cosmetics items if they want, This is a Game Changing Idea and Please Include this, So that Minecraft Popularity will boost and Players can Enjoy more than now.🙏🙏🙏
