I can only do it on a controller.
So yes. I use a mod to skip the fishing mini game on PC.
But I've finished the fishing collection on switch. I like to think I can be forgiven for modding it out on pc.

I like fishing with only my pc's keyboard. I've actuallu caught lots of hard fish doing it, like anglerfish, mutant carp, super cucumbers, and more common difficulties like pike and carfish and tiger trout. I might be wrong about how hard it is to catch these, i havent played in a long time.
I don't know about you, but I am definitely them. I guarantee you I will be level 10 by the end of year one every single time.
