Hello everybody welcome back to stardew valley today we’re going to be taking on one of the mini games in the arcade land of the prairie king this is a top-down shooter yes this is not the first attempt it’s a very hard game and there’s an achievement for beating it and there’s

Also achievement for taking absolutely no hits i’m just going to be giving a guide to beat it so top down shooter and zombies rush at you they’ll be dropping power-ups that have various different effects we just got the smoke bomb which will teleport you and also confuse all the enemies that spawn for

Like a good five seconds here’s the coffee cup which just increases your movement speed probably the weakest of all the upgrades hey we’re getting him at a pretty good speed this is the wagon wheel which lets you shoot in all eight directions at once and you’ll notice that we’ve been

Grabbing these coins you’re going to want to grab as many of these coins as you can because there will be shops that appear that will give you buffs to permanent buffs to all of your stats i want that oh i used okay i did get it

I used the smoke bomb so that i could specifically go and get that yeah i’m gonna use it not waiting any longer gopher i don’t think this is anything it’s just a just an easter egg that’s appeared to me twice now while doing these attempts here’s the shotgun spread it allows you

To shoot three shots at once i’d like to save it if at all possible we’ll see and if you do grab multiple power-ups at the same time they will snack you will get the coffee cups movement buff and the shotgun spread at the same time if you pick them

Up right after each other and that’s an extra life we’ve actually got six lives already which is really good you’re going to want to stockpile as many lives as you can now that might have not seemed too bad and a one life run might not seem impossible until you get to world 3

And life throws its harsh realities at you every stage is going to have a slightly different layout these little wooden blocks we cannot shoot through nor move through but that stays the same for enemies as well enemies don’t have projectiles but they cannot walk through it these new spike boys are new

I’m just going to use this right off the bat if you give them too much time they will create a spike block that you cannot walk through that one’s kind of out of the way so i’m not too mad at it but they do take a lot of shots to destroy

If you let them build that up so keep that in mind don’t let it don’t let it create something in your main area movement i like to stay towards the middle in most stages and if there’s a stage where i don’t like to stay in the middle i’ll mention it those

Will be pretty obvious though because some of these layouts get pretty wild and if there’s nothing to talk about i think i’ll go ahead and speed it up Ah okay i do have the sheriff’s badge of my inventory this is by far the best item in the game because it gives you a movement buff rapid fire and okay and now we’re playing touhou and it gives you the shotgun buff it is by far

The best and i always try to keep it in my inventory if i can there is a five coin up there at the top another sheriff’s badge that i really don’t need smoke bomb you don’t always get this lucky with power-ups all right so we do

Have 15. i could get the shot speed upgrade okay so this is speed movement speed this is shot speed shot firing speed rather and this is your shot power i’m actually gonna hmm this is actually a tough choice i think i’m just gonna go for the shot speed upgrade

I will go for the power upgrade next but there’s just not enough enemies in this first area this first world that take more than one hit to kill that makes it worth to get that power upgrade this is weird layout but oh well i believe this is where we’ll start

Seeing zombies that take multiple hits though so i will be wary for that but in that case let’s keep going That was not too bad at all i’ve already gotten back up to 15 coins i believe our next item upgrade is going to be after this next fight i already have 10 lives i’ve been getting i’ll be honest extremely lucky with the drops usually you don’t see those five coins until

Much later on but i’ve got a lot of money and i’ve got a lot of lives which i will be using this is a really hard stage i try to tend to stay as close to the middle as i can only going for power-ups if it’s

Absolutely free and if i deem it’s worth it i try to keep these enemies out from the inside as much as i can because obviously that’s not good if you don’t i’m gonna try and clear out this bottom segment there’s a gravestone this makes you invincible and gives you

A speed increase for a limited amount of time try to get that try to clear out the inside before we finish this upgrade there we go i still have the sheriff’s badge saved and i imagine i’ll probably end up using it in this stage luckily they can tend to

Block each other out there’s the nuke not one of the better items i tend to just grab it whenever i see it it does get you out of a sticky situation but only one sticky situation other power-ups stay for a much longer time i shouldn’t have gone for that i absolutely should

Not have gone for that coffee cup because it’s not good when you die the stage does reset you don’t lose time on your timer but you do lose out on any power-ups that were on the ground including coins or anything like that leave this for the last possible moment yet another goat bunk

And this should get us through most of the rest of the stage when you finish a stage you do have to clear out all the spike traps which isn’t difficult just don’t touch them please and we have another upgrade here definitely going to go for the power

Upgrade i tend to avoid the movement speed upgraded for as long as i can ideally i probably wouldn’t be grabbing any of them but if we come to the last shop and i don’t have money for anything else i’ll get it here’s our first boss fight if we get lucky

He will do a specific movement pattern nope a movement pattern that would put him in front of us while he tried to shoot straight at us and if you position yourself real nice at the edge of this he can he can’t shoot you but you can shoot him and it doesn’t look

Like he’s gonna do that pattern unfortunately well he’s dead not too difficult i’d say the boss fights are honestly the easiest part of the game and there’s our mcguffin for the first stage he does always drop a life by the and way are carried off by gophers in two world

Two this is going to have a much larger variety of enemies including this stone enemy that you’re going to see which would normally take two hits to kill but since we got that power upgrade there are only one now i highly recommend getting that power upgrade before getting to the stage because

Otherwise you will get absolutely overrun by these guys their movement speed is faster than yours so you can’t just run away oh boy the sheriff badge huh i guess i’ll grab it it’s basically going to give us a free i don’t think i grabbed that shotgun upgrade a free passage through most of

This stage this is the easiest but if you don’t have that power upgrade again you will have trouble Oh yeah and there’s going to be butterflies spawning as well those go through walls that’s about it they’re kind of faster than your average zombie but they only take one hit even if you don’t have the power upgrade so keep that in mind And there we go simple enough now let me think i already have the money for the second power upgrade yeah i’m gonna get it i don’t really need the shot speed quite yet and being able to knock out even pretty i believe that means we’re going to knock out everything in this world

With one shot which is really really good and should make our time here a bit easier got a bit of a weird layout here you don’t want to get caught in this hole i tend to stay as far into this little like upper left area as

I can and if you’re lucky enemies will just get caught in that hole on the right and give you free time to react that is a lot of stones yeah i’m knocking out those uh four hit zombies in one hit which you love to see Oh man i was getting a little too hoity twitty with myself i was i thought i was invincible Oh i didn’t actually know that your shots go through trees huh look at that well now you know they don’t go through the stumps though and that’s the stage again not too hard but we’ve honestly gotten the best luck i’ve ever seen in this game so with money-wise so

In this stage i like to stay in the top left these rivers you can shoot over but you can’t walk over same of course goes for enemies oh that butterfly almost just absolutely sniped me so i like to stay in the top right or top left any corner really because if

You stay in the middle enemies can come at you from the left and right and i don’t like that i like to try and keep the least amount of openings possible for myself by staying in a corner i say as i walk across the entire level but i

Have a sheriff’s badge you’re basically invincible with this Here’s another shop please give me that coin i’m gonna go for yet another speed upgrade well shot speed upgrade i’m never going to go for the movement upgrade unless it’s the last shot did i say that already i’ve tried to record this so many times that i don’t know

Anyway here’s boss number two it’s basically identical to the original i try to stay in close proximity to this log so that i can always hide behind it if i need to your extra power does do more damage to the boss but i don’t ever find it that needed

I’m not getting lucky with these patterns normally i would have gotten it by now oh i had it lined up for a second there one more hit i want to see if he’ll do it before i shoot him one more time he’s kind of just vibing for a second there

It is that’s the pattern that you want where you can get free shots extra life 12 lives going to world 3 you need it and the mcguffin of world 2. Okay this isn’t easy this is where you want your level two power upgrade absolutely because these mummies take so many hits only taking two hits is absolutely required the flying demons would take two hits if you didn’t have your level two power upgrade so please get it it is

So easy to get overwhelmed in this stage gravestones act basically as trees you can shoot through them but you can’t walk through them i’m going to try and get enough money to where okay i can get yet another shoot speed upgrade maybe that would be ideal i missed that sheriff badge for

One coin not worth it yeah normally i’d be getting pretty overwhelmed in this level but luckily with our level 2 power already it’s not as bad as it could be try to use the gravestones as defense as much as you can because being able to shoot through them is such a boon

And always always prioritize the flying demons i don’t demons bats i don’t know if they even have an actual name of what they are compared to the dumb the mummies because even though the mummies are tanky and they can fill the screen really quickly they move really slowly and are

Generally not as much of an issue get that free nuke and i think we’re going to finish off level one without too much difficulty i hate that i died at spots that i absolutely should not have like it was never a situation of oh i’m gonna die here no matter what

And that’s usually what kills runs but yeah i guess i’ll just be a zombie now well this is unfortunate this is i believe off the top my head the last shot of the game so i guess i’m just gonna grab the movement speed upgrade which isn’t useless i should say

Especially in the stage where the flying demons go so much faster than you this is weird there’s like a barrier i don’t know if it hurts you or not so i’m not going to touch it but it’s like a pit otherwise it’s a very decent stage i’m gonna stay out of the

Middle personally because i don’t like being constrained to such a small area this is bad yeah yeah like i said they can fill the screen real quick oh no i grabbed that sheriff badge i wanted to stock it Okay by far the hardest stage and it may look like oh it’s so simple well the flying demons can spawn from anywhere and so many enemies spawn on this stage so make sure you have the best items stockpiled as you can and just absolutely tear through everything oh my goodness yeah yeah

Even with rapid fire i couldn’t do it see this is why i don’t go for the deathless i think that’s what five deaths i think which most of them i think could have been avoided i think this could have been a good run had i not been lackadaisical about the whole deal but

Oh well get the wagon wheel uh you know what hm do i want the wagon wheel or the gravestone i think i think the gravestone is going to get me out of more dire situations it lasts at least for a little bit it’s basically a screen nuke but it lasts for a while

Sure i’ll grab coins who cares this is weird not often i see an empty screen on this stage like i said i think that we got probably one of the best okay i’m gonna use it here there’s too many demons coming from all around um i think we probably get one got one

Of the best rng rolls for money that i’ve ever seen i don’t think uh they’re really coming at me i don’t think most people would be able to afford the movement upgrade or sometimes even that second shot speed upgrade that we were able to afford so i would absolutely recommend just go for

Oh boy sheesh okay well we’ve done it oh my lord dude one last shot i can get another shot speed also i really should have gotten this rapid fire oh that sucks well final boss time anyway like i was saying i recommend going for shot speed then power then power again and then

Whatever you can afford after that point really hard final boss uh if i had rapid fire that would have been an instant kill right there i didn’t move anywhere left or right once i entered the stage oh i didn’t expect him to start shooting that’s on me but hey

I have 15 lives i’m not really worried this is way easier than the final stage so oh well funk that easy once you get here it’s basically free well unless you have one life i suppose and die like i did there you go that is the game and i’ll get you the

Achievement for beating land of the prairie king not the achievement for deathless run which is the rarest achievement in all of stardu by the way so thank you all for watching and i’ll see you in another video You
