Episode is made myself a little rudimentary storage area inside of this little base location down here so today’s episode we are going to explore hopefully the entirety of the surface level of our world we are going to see what kind of epic stuff we have in our

World so yeah i’m pretty excited there’s always something really really fun about going ahead and doing your first ever exploration session on your world to see what exactly you have i mean there’s no better feeling right so check it out we have ourselves a whopping great lake

Here so this would be fantastic for fishing in and not capturing junk so that’s very very much appreciated we’ve got ourselves a chest down here yeah we’ve got ourselves a blowpipe very cool but of course we are nowhere near finished yet ladies and gentlemen got some more daybloom going on always a

Good idea to grab ourselves some cacti but with that said do we really need it i mean we’ve already got decent armor and we already have decent tools ordinarily at the very start of the game you would pick up cacti to make cacti armor or cacti pickaxe because it’s just

Better than that of the normal pickaxe and having no armor oh for goodness sake are you serious right now here i am trying to explore my world and a blood moon has just begun this isn’t good guys this isn’t good at all i’m so dead there’s no one no no no no

No oh my goodness i’m not surviving this what am i supposed to do there’s no way i could take any of these guys down i mean yeah we’re doing an all right amount of damage but yep there goes all of our ammo oh my gosh what a bunch of balls this is

Man i don’t want this right now i hate it when you get early game blood moons especially in master mode they are nasty with a capital nasty there we go there goes our life ladies and gentlemen it was only a matter of time really wasn’t it when you got all these dudes

Coming at you it gets kind of difficult to survive against them after a while at the family it’s give me like a money trough truffle something you know at least make this worth it that would be nice well time to say goodbye to our life again ladies and gentlemen

This guy is right here man i don’t want this i want to be able to feel safe inside my house oh god oh goodness me oh boy this is not going well is it all right well i guess we just gotta wait this thing out has to

Be said i’m kind of surprised that trent the guide is still alive that guy has a better ability to survive than i do he hasn’t died i’ve died already what the heck man what the devil i like how we’ve now got an infestation of corrupt bunnies i never thought i’d see the day

When i’d get invaded by corrupt bunnies this is so weird man well the only silver lining to killing corrupt bunnies is it goes towards our 100 bestiary goal huh ah i may actually have the resources oh yeah we do i’ve actually got the resources to make arrows for once uh yeah

Suck on that terraria thank goodness i decided to go ahead and stack a whole bunch of my coins within a chest here because uh yeah for me to lose any kind of gold coinage this early on would be an unfortunate thing indeed huh yeah now i’m feeling like i could take on the

Entire world ladies and gentlemen oh be aware terrarium monsters i am the monster now i’m a ranger monster i’m an archer monster yeah this is how we freaking roll in my town oh don’t mind me just going it ah well i was just gonna say don’t mind me

I’m just going ahead and uh taking down another small army at my base but yeah that little guy there with this little sword took me out of the game you do realize that means it’s going to be nigh on impossible for me to get back to my

Base now huh oh jeez at least make it worth it give me some form of loot huh ah you see this is what i am missing in my terraria calamity play through the fact that the enemies on this version they don’t despawn with your money whereas in the calamity let’s play

They do because they didn’t introduce that change until 1.4 but hey ho it is what it is ladies and gents it is what it is oh finally it’s daytime oh i can finally go exploring again guys goodness me all right so let’s try this whole exploring lark again huh and

Hopefully not die horrifically due to some stupid event come on if we’re nice and quick going through this here desert we might be able to clear it before anyone spawns in and you know what i think we just did ha fantastic love to see it uh what is that

Oh okay never mind i thought it was going to be an enchanted sword shrine and i was actually about to lose it and in a good way as well because usually i am very well known for being able to obtain enchanted swords very early game it usually happens within the first few

Episodes and then that’s it i’m literally sorted out for like the entirety of free hardware it’s actually kind of crazy right one thing i do not want to do is explore the jungle not properly anyway i want to try and get through this biome as quickly as

Possible so let’s go ahead and grab a whole bunch of stuff out of that chest there oh goodness me oh no no no no no no no no no no no no i hate bats i hate bats i hate bats oh these guys aren’t that great either they’re

Stupid little snatcher dudes they do a ridiculous amount of damage so i’m gonna go ahead and try to avoid them like the plague oh goodness me i don’t want this series to be known for having loads and loads of depths in all right i actually want to try and better

My ability to survive in terraria all right all right looks like we’ve got oh i thought it was a cave entrance but no it wasn’t a bit disappointing really ah no no go away your stupid bat no one likes you literally no one not even jay

The angler here look at him he’s trying to run away from you and throwing frost daggerfish at ya hello buddy caught in the ocean well that’s nice and easy but unfortunately i don’t have any bait i might be able to sort of makeshift into existence a wood fishing pole

Ah but then i don’t have any ability to get bait ah you hate to see i would have totally done that as well if there’s a shark down here i’m just gonna die flat out i can’t see what’s going on either all right if my pointer changes to a chest icon

We might have something cool going on uh no it doesn’t look like it uh doc good lord i didn’t mean to do that i meant to use the recall potion first but hey ho we got home anyway all right well that just leaves the right hand side of

The nap to be explored maybe there’s some more goodies i mean to be honest that was actually kind of a disappointing side of the world there but one thing i did notice is the fact that there is no corruption at all on the left-hand side of the map which is

Amazing because i’ve always preferred it when the evil is only on one side of the map it makes it way easier to go ahead and cleanse later down the line ah there we are some worms all right now ordinarily are we prioritized getting more mana but if we’re gonna go ahead

And try and get that fishing quest done we might as well try to do a little bit of a favor for ourselves here and bring the enchanted night crawlers with us okay this room is missing a wall what the devil are you all about i i

Don’t i don’t get it the white why is it missing a wall ah looks like we’re doing this the old fashioned way we’re gonna have to dig our way down to our house and then sort of lead the break in the background rules down there because yeah

Unfortunately that’s how you do it in this game i’d very much prefer for them to just make the simple change and allow us to be able to dig out background walls anyway you shouldn’t have to lead sort of a crack from the edge of the walls inwards you shouldn’t have to do

That in my opinion it really rather puts a spanner in the works if you’re trying to do any kind of build project especially underground for example but anyway i guess it’s not really that far we could go ahead and get it done nice and easy like so yeah this is what i

Mean by leading a crack down there we are literally leading a crack down to the underground house here all right and then once we’re done oh goodness me why why would you do that you stupid slimo no one likes you get out of here that is literally the tiniest crack in the world

For a slime to fall down and he managed to do it one absolute champ i can’t believe it man i’m actually kind of impressed so nice and simply now that we’ve got the crack going on we could go ahead and replace all of these here background walls with whatever we want

In this case it’s stone and then yeah we should have a valid npc house here for the angler now i’m prioritizing the angle of course so we don’t have to go ahead and continuously walk to the ocean because that is a bit of a pain isn’t it all right so making

Sure this actually works it there we are the angler can now move in so yeah once we get over to the right-hand side ocean we can hopefully capture a clown fish from fishing and then hand it in and get our very first fishing reward of the

Series hey guys would you look at that yet another very very large pond for us to do some fishing in all right well here we are coming across the snow by him as well very nice very cool i’m hilarious and would you look at that we’ve even got on ourselves a large pond

To do ice fishing in i like it when the different biomes already have bodies of water in it because it makes doing fishing quests way the heck easier and yes needless to say we will indeed be doing some fishing quests as we go along because yes we do get some very very

Good stuff from fishing in terraria as time goes on you start getting better and better rewards so yeah fishing really is worth it in terraria it’s something that i feel like a lot of people will just overlook in terraria it’s actually one of the better parts of terraria certainly better than

Minecraft’s fishing anyway so continuing our exploration session we’ve got ourselves a good amount of herbs so far which is pretty awesome uh this guy can die because i don’t much want him to be killing me ah i thought i would come across this at some point the corruption i can hear the music

Oh goodness me all right well let’s see if we can speed our way through it we do have double jump and a grappling hook at the end of the day i’m hoping we’ll be able to get through here real easy like hey there we are we’ve got ourselves a step stool some

Grenades very very nice and we’ve got the dungeon right here well this is interesting isn’t it you don’t normally come across a dungeon which sort of has the corruption running through it as well at least i don’t know if that happened very often ah there we are very very

Cool it’s always worth picking up these little water candles because if you need to go ahead and farm out mobs for whatever drop you might want then yeah having a water candle is definitely a very very useful thing indeed all right to be honest that’s about as far as i

Dare go in the dungeon for those of you guys who can’t remember in 1.4 they kind of nerfed the dungeons a little bit in that you can no longer find water bolts at the surface of the dungeon or at least i’ve never found a water bowl in

The dungeon at the surface in 1.4 i mean it might still be possible it might be on a very much more rare basis but for me personally i haven’t managed to find one just yet i’ll tell you what we certainly have a good amount of these

Here large trees on the world huh we’ve got a couple sort of in the middle here and it looks like oh wait there’s another one as well on a small world we have a pretty significant amount of these here large trees oh what do you know there is in fact a third

One yeah dude i always used to think that you only really get this amount of large trees in the drunk world sea but actually maybe we’re just getting lucky here guys all right well let’s go ahead and see if we’ve got anything decent we’ve got ourselves a chest down here with some

Guarding climbing claws is that better than this one yes it is oh what do you know yet another chest for your boy what have we got on this one huh we’ve gone aglet very very cool little bit of movement speed all right are we going to

Be let down oh goodness me that guy does a lot of damage holy guacamole okay i really don’t want to die ideally i’m hoping that devourer will go away because of the fact that we’re not in the corruption anymore and you know what i think that’s exactly what just

Happened i think it just despawned cool all right well let’s continue our exploration here still no sign of an enchanted sword shrine just yet uh we’ve got another chest here with even more climbing claws we’ve got ourselves an umbrella oh my god oh don’t even tell me oh i know what this is

Yes oh dude this is brilliant you know what we just found here guys you know what we just found the king has returned the king of finding enchanted swords early on in the series oh my word i have never ever had the terror grim the entire time i’ve played terraria so

I believe it’s a one in 20 chance three two one boom ah it’s an enchanted sword okay fair enough i mean i can’t complain about it it’s still an increase of seven damage it’s full auto and shoots out a beam for crying out loud i mean what

Else do you need in pre-hard mode so yeah that’s uh that’s rather a good find isn’t it absolutely fantastic so the time has come ladies and gentlemen will we be able to get the clownfish before oh wow okay literally the first item we catch i tell you what ladies and gentlemen we

Have not got a bad world here have we not by any stretch of the imagination in fact i always go as far as to say that we have got probably one of the better worlds that i think i’ve ever had in terraria the only thing that’s really

Missing from this world sadly would be a desert pyramid so we’re not going to be able to get ourselves the bundle of balloons from just one one but hey ho it is what it is we still haven’t done too bad have we gone all right so here we

Are the first ever fishing quest being handed in for this big old series here we have a fishing potion well three of them actually so what do you guys think is it time to go back underground in search of goodies i think that would be a marvellous idea do we have spiel on

Compulsions uh no we do not all right well it is what it is we will make it work whatever the case may be we’ll see if we can get lucky here ladies and gentlemen maybe we find some more life crystals without even needing a spiel on compulsion i mean that’d be

Pretty cool huh i think one of the better things about having an enchanted sword early on is the fact that it actually produces light as well so yeah worrying about going ahead and needing torches early on just isn’t really a thing you need to worry about whoa

That is an enormous deposit of iron holy guacamole i could open up a freaking iron shop with all of this how on earth did i miss these before i missed diamonds like seriously is there actually something wrong with my eyesight because surely i should have spotted those before huh hell yeah dude

Oh you love to see it absolutely love to see what have we got here more ice skates well that’s interesting oh snappers looks like we’ve actually got a place that goes down here ladies and gentlemen okay gotta be ah i was just gonna say we gotta be careful of that

Trap and what did i do i immediately proceeded to get freaking wrecked by that trap oh hey cool all right my eyesight isn’t that bad ladies and gentlemen i did spot that one there that little freaking heart crystal there so i’m pretty happy about that oh

Now things are hotting up okay uh i should be able to do this safely okay mostly safely cool ah look at that guys there’s a fake enchanted sword shrine right there imagine if that was another real one huh that would be rather incredible wouldn’t it and it’s probably worth mentioning i

Have actually had that happen before i have found uncharted swords that have not been inside of an enchanted sword trying by him before so you know you never know what you might find in this game guys nice not only is there an underground house but there’s

Also a mana star statue i would very much like to pick that up put it useful for any arena that you maybe wanted to make a little bit later down the line i like how there’s two anvils wait there’s three anvils inside of this house what the devil that’s a little bit peculiar

Isn’t it oh dude if you give me a bone pickaxe i’m gonna be the happiest guy in the entire world ah no sadly not ladies and gentlemen uh we did get a mining shirt and a steak though really stop it with your freezing on the spot dude that’s not what that devil is

That hello a bat bat what okay well that’s something i haven’t seen before i can only assume that was introduced with 1.4.3 because otherwise i would have seen it before whoa 31 melee damage oh my god that is slow as heck bro wow wait it has life steal

Oh my word that is big dude i didn’t know that this was in the game we can get life steal weapons in pre-hard mode ladies and gents the only thing that would make the bat bat better is if it was full auto but then again we can go ahead and grab ourselves the

Feral claws eventually and that will make it auto swing i mean it certainly doesn’t give the greatest amount of lifesteal but it just sort of goes ahead and buffs up your life regen just a tiny little bit huh i mean it’s better than nothing isn’t it i’d rather have a tiny

Amount of lifesteal than have absolutely nothing all right budski i’m a following i’m a following hey it led me to a house very cool thanks buttski and within it we have a flare gun wow thanks budski all right guys so we’ve just come across an underground a

Mushroom biome and also this here weird fluorescent moss ah goodness me that actually did a lot of damage there bud ah these guys do a surprising amount of damage these little uh shelley dudes yeah giant shelly i ain’t having none of your nonsense all right yeah come on come on come on

That’s right you try and come over here outside that’s right that’s right and then i get you cornered and then you die so i think to finish off the episode what we’ll do is we’ll see if there’s a mushroom house to be had here and then

We will quit while we’re ahead and head on back to base oh hell yeah look at that my friends we have two life crystals not just one but two very very nice i am chuffed about that there we are going up to 260 health now ladies and gentlemen very very cool pick

Up a bunch of these here mushrooms as well you know what i think would be a good idea is the earlier we get ourselves a surface mushroom biome the easier things are going to be later on in hard mode when we need a truffle and we try to make ourselves some of these

Shrew mite bars right so maybe that’s something we try and do pre-hard mode because then we’re not dealing with all of the mobs of hard mode and all that kind of nonsense you know we’ll be able to easily get stuff done all right well sadly no sign of an underground house

Inside of this mushroom biome not that i can see anyway and not that i can see on the mini map so i’ll tell you what we’re just gonna go for a regular underground house then all right hey look at this guy trying to throw his body parts at me

What the devil is up with that man at least take me out on a date first jeez uh right how am i gonna do the safely yeah that’s right knock him down wait oh at least try to knock him down hey buddy you wanna try it do you yeah that’s why

I will kill you on the precipice here oh yeah get rekt all right so we have ourselves a life crystal but that is not the thing i was bringing you guys back in for the thing i was bringing you guys back in for was this we’ve got ourselves a gem cave here

Ladies and gentlemen hey i mean this is pretty fine isn’t it so it seems to be a culmination of amethyst and sapphire so let’s pick up all these gems and let’s head on home we have not done too bad in terms of finding gear in today’s episode yeah

That’s right going home with a head-to-head high and more to the point with our lives intact we’re coming up with six gold coins as well so our money collection is doing kind of all right all right guys so real quick let’s see if we can make anything here we’ve got

The emerald staff here is that really worth making over the wand of sparking uh i don’t know actually because strictly speaking this can do a little bit extra damage when it does set folks on fire so hmm i don’t know man i think we’re all

Right with what we’ve got going on to be honest with you although if we really wanted to we could upgrade our hook up to a ruby one it will reach a little bit further than the sapphire one so you know what sonic was it why not so yeah

Not a bad episode indeed we’ve got ourselves the enchanted sword explore all of our surface pretty much now and explore a whole bunch more underground stuffs as well so let’s go and do the comment of the day to end off today’s episode and yes we are doing the comment

Was like oh hey he’s starting another series he’s probably gonna wind up canceling one but guys get this ever since that video i did last year titled a new era is beginning i have not cancelled a single series and that was just over a year ago guys i mean i don’t

Know about you guys but i consider that a little bit of a personal achievement you know not canceling a series for over a year i’ve seen all of my series in this last year to completion and i’m hoping that that is going to be a trend that very much continues so yeah don’t

Worry this let’s play and the calamity let’s play will be running alongside each other probably just alternating between uploads to be honest with you as for the final part can you actually uh no way oh my god i honestly didn’t know that the reason i never tried that previously

Is because on the tooltip it doesn’t say ammo if it said ammo then my natural assumption would be that it would be able to put in here and yeah it turns out it can be put in the ammo slot it just doesn’t say it on the tool tip

I never knew that that might just go ahead and free up a couple inventory slots if i’m in a bit of a fix that is so cool thank you so much for pointing that out so like i say though time to end the episode my friends thank you
