How to aimbot in Terraria, on PC, when using a keyboard
Hello, Terra the extremely lazy here. If you’re one of the people who play or have played Terraria console or mobile, you’re probably familiar with lock-on. Since the controls on these platforms can sometimes be less than agile, this feature can sometimes alleviate frustration when used in Terraria’s fast-paced boss fights.
Now obviously, PC players don’t need this, since the computer mouse is more than agile enough for anything the game can throw at you – even if you’re not very good at aiming. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t use this, or abuse this.
If you have a gamepad, PC Terraria will automatically recognize it and give you controller controls & features, including the lock on feature – just like a console. Unlike a console though, this “gamepad mode” can be used simultaneously with a keyboard.
Even as I use the keyboard, as long as you don’t move the mouse, the “gamepad mode” and its lock on will persist. Here I am, moving and dashing around using the keyboard, while my “gamepad mode” lock on continues to automatically fire and aim at the
Enemy. This aim is perfectly, 100% accurate, and will even persist when the enemy is far offscreen. You can fight entire boss fights like this – just move with the keyboard with your left hand as normal, and the controller in your right. I’m just holding down right-trigger right now to fire, with
It aiming for me. Press X to toggle or re-engage lock on. Keyboard hotkeys work as normal. This is some real Neva-Miss targeting right here. So yeah, that’s homing, without the need for Chlorophyte Bullets or anything similar, and it works with all weapons. Also yes,
This is a form of cheese – playing with PC controls, getting aimbot kinda ruins the fights in many ways. Fights are half the fun. If you really want to use this though, this is an option – as long as you have a controller. Either way, have fun!

Yes, I know sawcon.
Note: it would be rather annoying to try and rod of discord while doing this, but normally it just means you have aimbot (since only the keyboard is used for movement.)
I was not first
I mostly played Mobile for a long time. But I never used lock on because of where the button is.
Dang 34 seconds
Why is everyone here first
what a nice video, really makes you forget about ww2 and its tragedies, doesnt it
I don't have a controller.
I thought this was balanced until I saw how lock on persists even if the enemy is off screen, since if the enemy leaves the screen on console, the lock on fades and you have to retoggle lock on again
btd reference!?!
neva miss is crazy
It does miss, and sometimes, lock on will disconnect, for example, when an enemy goes too far or 3rd stage of fishron.
Merry Christmas Terrasteel!
So somehow Mobile can automatically aimbot XD
there's probably some software which eliminates the need for an actual controller
0:21 Monkey ace is getting added to Terraria?
I thought this was gonna be about the Chloro Bullets but wow. Ranger is gonna be easier now people know about this.
Another way you can do this is by plugging in a keyboard and mouse to a console, you can set a keybind and everything but personally I prefer to aim manually as locking on can be quite annoying.
Btd6 strategies when
I didn't knew about this!
