Ok as an avid Stardew fan I will applaud it's laurels and all it has achieved, but people need to stop saying "ohhhh where have I heard this story before" when referencing Stardew's plot. Stardew is amazing yes, but not groundbreaking. It rebooted the genre, but harvest moon / story of seasons and rune factory walked so it could run.

To be fair to Haystack Village and their grandpa story line, Stardew Valley took that plot line almost to the beat from Harvest Moon. So, these knockoffs using the grandfatherโs farm storyline could just be copying the original farming simulator, Harvest Moon.
