I was not ready for this Terraria weapon… After looking at the Crystal Serpent last vid, it seemed only right to move onto another Crystally alternative, in the form of the Crystal Vile Shard. With it been similarly an early hardmode drop, the question is, how does it compare to other mage weapons at this point, and is it worth getting?

Lmao i use this weapon against destroyer and is waaay better than any other weapon against destroyer, it simply melts the nuts and bolts of the destroyer, i even used it against plantera and destroys her, not better than most post mech weapons, but still destroys plantera
please review the "forbidden armor set"

Me and my uncle did a part of our playthrough with this but i dropped this for a gun because i was a ranger and summoner
You should do a side by side review of the golden shower (piss book) and cursed flame (green balls) like when you compared toxicarp and bladetunge or with dart gun/pistol
This weapon doesn't ONLY have 25 damage, it also has 10 armor penetration, which makes it as good as it is.
Day 2 of asking how that rapid attack speed at the end of the videos happens… a mod?

One side note you missed is that the vile weapons have some decent knock back for what they are, so against weaker hordes it can push them all away slowing or even stopping their approach. Something lifedrain does not do.
Since we're talking about the Crystal mage weapons, why not make the Crystal Storm next?

I absolutely adore the vileshard weapons, they're incredibly powerful, fairly easy to obtain, deal very high damage and also best of all, go through walls.
