What I've noticed is that people tend to like Alex more if they play the game as a male character because then he doesn't have those objectifying comments and if you romance him as a guy his character has a little more depth to it with some lines in the game suggesting he was struggling with his identity in a couple ways. Personally, I really like him and hes one of my favorites to marry for all his innuendo dialogue lines after lol

I love how the characters really develop as you get to know them! personally, I'm a big fan of Haley and Shane.
