How do i Get Echo Coating?
In regards to the tower. Can echo coating be placed on a block, turn the block invisible, then have blocks/furniture behind the blocks? Emulating a cutview of the inside of a house? CAN ECHO COATING ALLOW EXTERIOR WALLS AND DOLLHOUSE VIEWS??
Can we pass through the invisible blocks?
echo coating for adventure maps could be cool, can just change the map after hitting a switch by revealing echo coated buildings

You know what else you can do with this? Invisible chest! I always run out of space in all my secure storage spots (ie piggy bank, safe, vault, defender's forge) so I always gotta resort to storing things in chests, but if I'm in multiplayer that can be stolen! So make a platform in the sky and cover it in chests and paint them all with echo coating! They cant steal from it if they cant find it

having a giant spoopy tower that only appears at night or something like that would actually have so many uses in a variety of circumstances. like in an adventure map, having a secret passage that you only notice once you defeat a boss somewhere else, or someone that builds something only after you complete a certain event in the map.

the only thing i would change is echo monoliths staying hidden if they are covered with echo coating even when its on
you can paint a rain cloud block with echo coating and the rain will stay.

I have a cool concept for an adventure map parkour section with a lever where it turns on an echo chamber but also actuates the blocks you need to jump on, so you need to memorize the places you need to jump

@Khaios 3:18 Where/how do I unlock this Echo Coating? How are you walking through solid blocks? Where am I supposed to find information about this? I looked up "Terraria official Echo Coating" and got no search results. Also, I'd like to ask again, how are you growing trees instantly by waving your hand over a planted tree seed?

Labor of love seems like an excellent update to me, not a builder myself but all these changes and implementations seem well thought out and useful.
oooh, man. making the torches invisible is the best idea.
We need a thing that will act like the echo chamber but for the illuminant coating! Imagine you want to light up a part of your build which is underground, but you don't want it to shine at night. You could just wire this illuminant coating monolith to a day-night sensor and it's done

relogic really is making their game better with every single update, i am genuinely so thankful for 1.4.4, it is absolutely filled to the brim with QoL, i am so happy.
So you can make a base fully invisible and not show up untill you press the right button

you could probably make a build that has an outside wall while you are outside of it and the wall cuts away as you enter, kind of like how games handle roofs in top down games.

Ooh, I only just started watching this channel today so this might’ve been mentioned already, but imagine rigging these up to day/night sensors. Like, a wizard tower you can only see when the sun goes down? That could be neat. Anyways, SUPER cool builds! I’ve recently gotten into building in Terraria and I am so impressed with how creative you are with the different block types and textures. Wonderful stuff! It’s also great to see how the Terraria devs listen to the players.
