I’m out of bug meat for the bait and I’m not gonna waste my time in the lower cave levels
daggers are good for ghosts because their special move pins the enemy in place, but that is literally it
The worm bin takes around 2 seasons to pay for itself if you did not pay for the items to make it (just farm floor 81). It is invaluable when you have hundreds of crab traps
help wanted quests are a decent way to get money very early game ive found
The dagger is a great side arm. I have my keybinds set so I can swap from my hammer to the dagger to use its special ability that'll quickly halt and destroy mobs. It's really good with a high crit chance. Also, the dps is higher when you pin an enemy to a wall. I switch back to the hammer for large groups.
Help Wanted quests give you 3x sales price universally
Honestly, the only reason I crafted the worm bin was for perfection
Get a fish pond to refill your well. It serves the purpose of the well PLUS a place to breed rare fish and/or get roe (ink if it’s a squid).
I do the help wanted quests simply because I like the role-play aspect of this game. That’s it.
Daggers are goated tho
Idk I think the worm bin is useful as soon as you get crabpots. Pop em in your ponds next to the worm bin amd thats a little extra money/materials with a composter. Really helped early game for me.
The Mill always turns a profit with unmilled rice and turns a profit with any wheat except iridium quality with the miller profession.
With beets, the mill only turns a profit if the beet is silver quality or lower.
OH NO I LITERALLY JUST CHOSE THE TAPPER PROFESSION OVER THE HARDWOOD NOOOO 😭😭😭
Bro was walking
The help wanted quests absolutely make you money. Maybe not fast enough to go out of your way for but whenever an item is requested you either keep it or are given more than what you would get for selling it normally. The only one that isn't really worth it is the joja cola request unless you already have one laying around. Also the mill isn't entirely useless. I mean I don't think it's absolutely required for perfection since I think you can just buy its finished products for the shipping bin, but over time if you're going to be planting any of the relevant crops then it will make itself useful. Tapper profession is useful in co-op games for one player to have because of how sell price works in co-op. It takes into account the profession that would make it worth the most out of all players who are online.
Worm bins are convenient for crab pots. A worm bin for every 2-3 crab pots and a chest to store excess or reach for in case you need 1 or 2 extra bait. Place the worm bins nearby for the convenience of not worrying about carrying bait or separating it from your fishing pole. This will passively raise your fishing skill. You can get a bigger fishing bar slowly without ever fishing with a pole. Set out a small number of them that you visit daily in the early game and over time it can make it worth it.
Or… play how you want and don't worry about becoming a billionaire in a relaxing farming game.
So it will take Yeööörs.. xD
👍 Should be titled 'Five Things You Should Absolutely Avoid- If You Are Trying to Get To Perfection'
These are all very true. 🤌
i remember seeing a photo of atardew valley from concerned ape for the Nintendo switch and it had a well next to a pond.
i’ve seen 2 or 3 videos from you and i’m already subscribing, that’s saying a lot
Being new in game, my brain can't do it anymore
wdym the worm bin is useless my farmer in christ you in worm the rod and out rod the fish
Most of the time it’s not worth the extra time
Don't take this guys advice besides from 3-4
I can see how the well can be less than useful when several farm layouts already have natural water sources near the farming areas (or just place a Pond, which can be bigger, but doubles over as a fish source), but how is the windmill useless? Is there any other way to grind rice, grain and beets without the use of a mill?
