The new murasama really sucks? is op now? is fun?

Not tested on other bosses because Exos And Scal sucks for true melee
and dog, well the DMG is insane for dog

  1. It would be nice if you wore a dps meter next time you do something like this
    It helps me tell how well the weapon is doing because I always have the dps meter on and I have made a mental map of the average dps per game stage and im sure im not the only one

  2. It's still decent, but definitely not as good as before. Now if you want a true melee weapon that'll really put the pain on something, Dragon's Rage is my go-to now until I get past Supreme Calamitas. This thing will SHRED anything that gets close to it (worms especially).

  3. In general, when I played calamity as melee, I realized that this was most likely the worst class I had ever played. bosses are harder to reach than usual, there is less damage, armor doesn't give anything and in the end it's boring. but I can say that, unlike ranger, I finished this playthrough and the murasama in it was just a beautiful toy that is actually not capable of anything other than scratching exo-mechs and killing all non-boss enemies

  4. If they nerf the range so much you can hit the boss once in several seconds, there must be an additional dmg buff (maybe something like: the more current HP you have – the more dmg boost it gives, so if you play well you also do great dmg). Or bonus to move speed and a parry mechanics to let you be closer.

Homestly those who are complaining about they "butchered" this weapon they realky didnt they just made it more skill based its dps is at an all time high as its no longer as slow as molasses and i feel like its more a high skill weapon that rewards the player for actaully being good at the game

  6. The thing that completely alienates me regarding this weapon is that it seems almost designed to be used against DoG. Srsly why would you place murasama in post DoG so that you can use it against Yharon, a boss that nutoriously demands ranged attacks???

  7. Ok, so I can see that they tried to make the murasama feel more like how it is in MGRR. The issue is that it doesn’t feel powerful anymore. My suggestion is to buff the damage and increase the size, but lower the attack rate. Each hit should feel impactful and with the fast fire rate, it just feels bland. Also, an on hit visual would do nicely.
