"Sticky outy bit" I think you mean a cantilever. Its an architectural design that has a floor that extends beyond the foundation to hang over open space.

Hope you get better as well as the bedroom on the other side of the villager breeder you can do a upstairs access through the other house or do an outside entrance into it that way those beds can get used even though they don't have access to the upstairs of that house through

Just a word of warning regarding the villagers – their AI doesn't wokr well with carpets, especially if the carpet is right next to a door. They can't walk over it and get stuck.

As well as other Create add on mods might I also suggest getting some Farmer’s Delight addons as well as the recently released mod Alex’s Caves since Alex’s Mobs is in the modpack
Welcome back! I love the village buildings, wondering however if maybe for the one with storage on the bottom floor, if that bottom floor could be a little open-air shop instead, it feels right for it.
A good way to light up Large areas of land is putting a light source 1 block in the ground, then covering it with moss carpet. just thought you'd like to know.
