Hello! I have the Problem that smapi won't launch stardew valley. So the SMapi window open and shut down immediatly and nothing happened.. Whats the problem? Pls Help me T_T

Ive never modded anything before, i always got my brother to install me minecraft mods. However i decided to let him live his life, and try to install my own. Im gonna try this, hopefully ill update this!
If a player has edited the mod settings of a mod, and enters a multiplayer farm with these settings, would the server crash? Like, if both players have the tractor mod but one decides to make it so the tractor costs only 500 gold to build while the host left the mod unchanged, what happens then?

I installed smapi, i installed all of the mods, but when i use an existing save, nothing seems to have changed. Smapi just seems to work fine, no errors, i put all the mods into the mod folder. Not sure what's going on. i haven't tried a new file yet.
I followed you the whole time but it’s been around a year since you posted this, even though I add the mods to the folder it still only opens with none of the mods, so I checked SMAPI when it opens the game and it doesn’t even show the mods I downloaded, does anyone/the creator (if he even sees this lmao) have any idea what’s happening 😭 it’s 3 am and I need some help 💀

im kind of confused, i followed every step and dragged all the files from my files to winRAR but when i open Stardew on steam it says something like "3 mods loaded" despite me having more, it doesn't say they need other mods to work its just like they wont load

downloaded winrar all it did was make a file called rar and whenever id open it it would just duplicate its self can someone help me (i am using macOS Catalina version 10.15.7
Would launching the normal Stardew.exe allow me to play unmodded whenever I wish without issue, or does installing mods permanently change the game files unless I uninstalled every mod?

Must we manually download everything? For other games like Skyrim and Witcher 3 I usually just let Vortex handle everything so I don’t have to sift through files
