I always got the lava charm first before the magma stone. I was farming hell bats for the gauntlet thing for hours then i finally tried lava charm in shimmer and it worked. I wasted hours of my life ;-;

I usually get magma stone when building a hellbrige so usually I get Terra boots in Pre HM
I use this method all the time it is a lot better than fishing in hell
