Yo gameraiders101 the thing where the obliterator does one damage is a reference to actual botw where during the side quest you could only one shot 2 monsters and then wait for it to reset

1.4.4 Terraria has been out for a while on the experimental branch. They are waiting to make it the official version until over half the mods on the workshop have been updated to allow 1.4.4 use.

and for clarification, if u do 2 fast consecutive hits your dmg will get debuffed to 1 for a short time.(reference to the real one hit obliterator

The reason that the one hit obliterator only dealt one damage sometimes, is that it only insta kills things twice before recharging, like in breath of the wild, so it isn’t too overpowered
