Let’s learn how to play with mods in Stardew Valley!
In this video, I’ll be going over the basics and beginner-friendly steps to take in installing Smapi and Mods, as well as getting into a bit more advanced tips on how to take a little more control over your modded game and troubleshoot when you come across problems. We will also cover mod managers and I’ll show you everything I know about adding, removing, and configuring mods in Stardew Valley!
Stardew Valley 1.6 isn’t out yet, but when it is, we should be having a complete overhaul and update of Smapi, so when that happens, I’ll update this guide.

Its unfortunate that nexus has a limit for non premium people, ive only got 6 so far and i was so excited to get more, and im debating getting premium, but, if i dont pay the nest month ill still get the mods i downloaded right? may be a stupid question, but if anyone can just reassure me that would be great. other than that is this a great video! can you make mod packs for stardew valley? like i want to have mod packs for each season, with different saves, but idk if thats possible?

How do you put the mods in? It doesn't say…
ok so i followed the steps and when i go to open the stardew mod api to play the game it works fine! but once i create a save file and start to play the screen turns black…i can still hear the music but i cant do or see anything in the game! what do i do?? (the pc works fine! i can hit my windows button and it works its just stardew that isnt!)
edit 1: ok so when i go back to SMAPI the code is glitched but i can make out some of the words. it says 'Collection was mofied; enumeration operate may not execute." what does this mean?)
