I grew up with him like many others, when i heard wtf he was doing i wasn't hurt, but it was certainly shocking. I didn't expect him of all people would go down like that.

God it feels weird seeing the end of popularmmos. As I had my username based off of him as grayskymmos for many video games that I still play to this day.
TrueMU was my childhood, he is the reason why I call pigs "Jeffereys". I remember seeing him upload his animations, but they felt off… Knowing that he probably sold his channel makes me a bit sad. He had every chance to try something new, but he stuck to the old formula that doesn't work anymore. Though I heard he got into the music scene, so I really do hope he is doing well.

I was quite disappointed when I first heard that XboxAddictionz got terminated. Good thing he and various other users reuploaded his old videos, as they were quite funny.
For those who don’t know Pat from popularmmos actually has a podcast channel now and is deciding to focus on that. He hasn’t uploaded in a while though because the place he was staying at in the UK burned down. It looks like he is attempting a new style with videos and has little to no interest in Minecraft modded videos.
there was a Minecraft YouTuber named Dataless822. he never had a downfall…. he hit 100K and then 2016 happened and then he just left the YT scene…. he had such good and unique builds. he was even invited at one point to join Hermitcraft ( which he declined ) I wish people helped revive his channel. he was a legend that could thrive in todays Minecraft age

Honestly hope MMO doesn’t come back. He’s been pretty icky alongside other YouTubers I used to watch until they decided being a good person ain’t a thing they want to do. (Eatyourkimchi being another, they both fell into a very alike trap… Simon is very alike ick.)

Only one correction: No, MMO will never come back. Even if his content was many of our childhood's, and entertaining, he's a terrible person. He has several dramas that you didn't mention fully (which I understand, as this isn't a video entirely off MMO and his history), but in a summary: Abusive, manipulative, and full on terrible to his girlfriends; especially Jen. I wouldn't even give a thought to him coming back, or even 'hope'. MMO does NOT deserve consideration.
I still hold out hope for Jason to actually return to TrueMU, but that little shred of hope fades further with every soulless reupload.
Why is it so hard for people running channels aimed at kids to not interact with said kids

xboxaddictionz was a huge part of my childhood and im happy with that, if only YouTube didn't delete his channel
I always forget about what happened to these people. Minecraft Universe/TrueMU especially was such a suprise, as he just seemed to have gone dark one day. I had know idea this new thing was even happening to his channel, I I had unsubbed. With Sky Does Everything though, it seemed like they were going to try to return, but nothing ever really came from the attempts they made, and the allegations against them are pretty bad and also fairly concrete.
Also, it isn't exactly the easiest info to find, since they aren't active anywhere, but Adam does use they/them pronouns, in case you ever come back to talk about them and their channel again at some point.

I stopped keeping up with Sky back in like 2017, mostly because I was just uninterested in that style of content at the time, but hearing that he's working with Storyfire is probably the most jarring turn of events i've heard, beause I also haven't heard that name since i stopped watching McJuggerNuggets back in like 2020

Tbh, I don't think PopularMMOS would ever go back to his old content. He seems to not be interested in it anymore, and he doesn't really need to. He seems to be more interested in doing podcasts now and appealing to his now more mature audience.
If you do a part 2, I'd like to see MCFinest included, along with Bashurverse.

It's sad that the Golden Age Minecraft Youtubers are gone, but at least we still have our memories. Plus we have new Minecraft Youtubers now, including me in the near future thanks to some inspiration from Pat. Minecraft will never die completely, even if some of these Youtubers do.
